Report cards for students will be coming home tomorrow! We encourage you to take some time to
review your child’s progress with them. While it is
easy to look for areas that need improvement, be
sure to affirm the positive areas as well. Discuss
second quarter goals together and please, feel free
to contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions. Please sign the report card
envelope and return it to your
child’s teacher by Friday,
November 1st.

Just a reminder, the Children’s Christmas/Advent service
will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 3:00 PM and
5:00 PM in De Pere. Students in grades 1-8 will be participating in BOTH services with a snack/game-break between
services. Green Bay Pre-K and AM Kindergarten will ONLY
participate in the 3:00 PM service. De Pere Pre-K and PM
Kindergarten will ONLY participate in the 5:00 PM service.
To alleviate congestion, (so we don’t have too many families
at one service) we are asking non-preschool families beginning with the letters A-M to attend the 3:00 PM service and
non-preschool families letters N-Z to attend the 5:00 PM
service. ALL children (A-Z) will
meet in the Hillside room at
2:30 PM. Children may be
picked up in the Hillside room
immediately following the 5:00
PM service (approximately
6:00 PM).
Thank you to all the families who baked and donated bread for our Bake! Take! and Rake! community
service event. Students will be delivering bread to
families in our neighborhood and offering raking
service to be done on Friday, November 1st. If you
have an extra rake or two please
bring them to school next Friday.

St. Mark School Silent & Live Auction: Our Auction committee is busy putting donation packages together. A current list of
these packages is attached to this newsletter and will also be posted on our school website. We encourage you to look at the list and
"pre-shop" otherwise it can be quite overwhelming the night of the
auction. This will give you a sneak peak at a vast majority of the
items we will have available.
Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, a matching gift
program up to $10,000 has been established for this years’ auction!
Families wishing to contribute toward the matching gift program may
make checks payable to “St. Mark School” and
note in the memo “auction matching gift.” Dona- South Pacific

Congratulations to the St. Mark A Volleyball team for a 2nd place
finish at the FVL tournament on Saturday, October 19th! The Lady
Lions are headed to the State Tournament on October 25th. We
are so proud of you!
Beginning this Sunday October 27th, St. Mark basketball players are invited to attend open gym at the
Green Bay site from 1:00-2:30 PM. Open gym will be
held every Sunday that there is NOT a home Packer
game (11/3, 11/17, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15). For more information

The next Rooted to the Rock Bash (RTR 6th-8th grade) is
scheduled for Friday, November 1st and it is a Bowling
Bash. It will be held at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley from
6:00-9:00 PM and the cost is $10.00 per student (this covers
the cost of shoe rental, pizza, and soda).
There will be a devotion with a reflection
starting at 8:00 PM in a private room at the
alley. Parents are encouraged to come
and be a part of the fun and excitement.

Please note the time changes for the tryouts below:
The Foxtrotters, Fox Valley Lutheran's boys grade school
basketball tournament teams, will be hosting tryouts
on Saturday, November 9 and Saturday, November 16 at
FVL. For both dates, the times are as follows: 6th grade
from 10:00-11:30 am, 5th grade from 11:30 am-1:00 pm, 7th &
8th grades from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Please plan to attend
both sessions and have your child to the FVL gym 15 minutes
prior to the starting time on Saturday, November 9 for registration. For more information, you can
