Columbus Youth Track 2015 Practices & Meets - At track North of CHS Monday, April 20th Practice: 6:00-7:15 pm Tuesday, April 28th Practice: 6:00-7:15 pm Tuesday, May 5th Practice: 6:00-7:15 pm Monday, May 11th Practice: 6:00-7:15 pm Monday, May 18th 3-6 Meet: 5:00-8:30 pm Tuesday May 19th K-2 Meet: 5:00-8:30 pm Cost, Details, & Ages Columbus Youth Track is for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. The cost for each individual is $25 and $ 20 for each additional sibling. Included is four practices, a track meet, ribbons for the top six places, and one t-shirt. Events 60 Meter Dash 60 Meter Low Hurdles 100 Meter Dash 200 Meter Dash 400 Meter Run 800 Meter Run 1600 Meter Run Long Jump High Jump Shot Put Discus Throw ● Hurdles (1st-3rd = 24”, 4th-6th = 30”) will be run on grass. ● Shot Put (K = 4 lbs, 1st-3rd = 6 lbs, 4th-6th = 8 lbs) ● Kindergarteners will not be allowed to compete in the hurdles, 1600, high jump, or discus.
