Axon is an integration orchestrator, allowing the creation, modification and management of referential and transactional data integration
workflows between Maximo and multiple other applications and systems, whether real-time, scheduled or manually triggered. Using pre-built
or customised connectors, Axon is network transport agnostic, utilising web services, database queries and lower-level communication protocols
such as TCP/IP or UDP, between any application or system whether on-premises or on the cloud.
Axon provides an easy to use interface where connectors are registered and managed, and where transactions are fully audited and monitored.
Alerting features allow users and administrators to be informed of exceptions or when human intervention is required. Furthermore, Axon LIVE
provides real-time live monitoring of data streams, similar to those originating from SCADA systems, and is able to trigger alerts and data update
actions based on events captured from those data streams.

Connectors
Integration of structured data and unstructured documents relating
to business processes is provided by using standard connectors
between Maximo and other systems, such as EMC Documentum,
INFOR SunSystems, Microsoft Sharepoint, Workday and Kofax.
Connectors can be created for practically any system in use today.
Configurable
With minimal technical knowledge, users can plug in connectors and
configure Axon to communicate with other systems. Integration
instances, data flows, event monitoring and actions can be configured.
Easy integration
Since all the flow of information and data mapping is configured,
Axon allows for a quicker implementation. Custom integration is
normally a complex job requiring knowledge of specific interfacing
APIs, custom coding and customisations. Axon hides the complexities
of the underlying APIs and reduces integration to XML message
formatting. This helps the user to focus on the business content
passed across systems and less on the transport mechanisms handled
by Axon.

monitoring and reporting. Quality of Service (Qos) on integration
points can be monitored, and Axon LIVE provides real-time
information on data streams.

multi-threaded environment out-of-the-box. This means that multiple
Transaction Management ensures that data integrity is maintained
across all connected systems. Axon also provides an easy mechanism
that permits users to define the necessary actions to be taken when
an inconsistency is identified or a transaction fails.
