STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM CONCORA Festival 2015: July 19-25 Come, Let Us Sound with Melody! All rehearsals and final public performance: Bethany Covenant Church, Berlin, Connecticut CONCORA’s annual Festival offers talented student singers an outstanding opportunity to work with CONCORA (Connecticut Choral Artists), Connecticut’s premier professional choir. This summer, singers will have the opportunity to sing under the direction of Guest Conductor Joseph D’Eugenio, Artistic Director of the Greater Middletown Chorale. For a full week, the choir will prepare great works of the choral repertoire, leading to a concert on Saturday, July 25. The featured work this summer is Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna. A limited number of full tuition scholarships are available to qualified high-school and college-age (undergraduate) singers. The only cost to each scholar accepted will be $25 for the purchase of their copies of all scores, which will be theirs to keep for their personal choral library. Scholarship applicants are asked to submit, along with this completed form, a statement of interest and a letter of recommendation. Recordings are not required this year.
