The 2015 edition of the Rodeo Drive Concours featured Alfa Romeo as the “Honored Marque.” “The Rodeo Drive Concours is a favorite Father’s Day tradition in Beverly Hills,” said Mayor Julian Gold. “It’s a day-long celebration of the finest automobiles in the world and a wonderful way for the entire family to celebrate their fathers in classic Beverly Hills style.” The event began on the 200 block at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Boulevard with the Honored Marque, Alfa Romeo. Celebrating their return to North America and 105th anniversary this month, the brand showcased the all-new 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Coupe, the open-air 4C Spider that arrives this summer and a 1965 Giulia TZ by David Sydorick. “As an event that exudes style, elegance and automotive passion, we’re honored that the Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance selected Alfa Romeo as this years Honored Marque,” said Reid Bigland, Head of Alfa Romeo North America. “And the timing of the Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance couldn’t be better as Alfa Romeo celebrates its 105th anniversary in June, our 4C Coupe continues to excite North American driving -more- Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance 2015 Page 2 enthusiasts and our all-new 4C Spider arrives this summer with its combination of supercar-level performance and open-air freedom.” Also on the 200 block of Rodeo Drive, The Auto Gallery showcased a 2016 FIAT 500X, 2015 McLaren 570S, 2015 McLaren 650S, 2015 Pagani Huayra, 2015 Maserati GranTurismo and a 2015 Maserati Ghibli. Auctions America showed off a 2004 Ferrari Enzo, 1967 Ferrari 330 GTS and a unique 1938 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster at the intersection of Dayton Way and Rodeo Drive. A few steps away, Galpin Ford showcased their 2015 Galpin Rocket. Also on the 300 block of Rodeo Drive, Maserati North America brought their Quattroporte GTS, Ghilbli SQ4 and the GranTurismo Convertible. Two 2015 Tesla Model S P85D customized by T Sportline and Al & Ed’s Autosound made an appearance, along with a pink Tesla, known as Breast Car, to raise awareness for breast cancer. At the intersection of Brighton Way and Rodeo Drive, the best of the best Winner’s Circle featured examples from Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. These included a 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C Touring Spider owned by Chuck Wagner, a 1949 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Villa d’Este coupe owned by Tim Walker and this year’s Best of Show winner, a 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Short Chassis Touring Spyder by Ray Scherr. Also at the Brighton Way and Rodeo Drive intersection, Toyota displayed their new Fuel Cell vehicle, the Mirai. This vehicle provides next generation mobility with an advanced technology fuel cell powertrain. Down the 400 block, Beverly Hills BMW showed off their BMW 650i Convertible. A few steps away, Highline Autos displayed a 2015 Dodge Viper with an 8.4L V10 engine, 645 horsepower, manual transmission and leather and suede interior. The Petersen Automotive Museum displayed the exotic “Round Door” Rolls Royce, along with a 1933 Duesenberg SJ Convertible Coupe by Murphy. At the end of Rodeo Drive near Santa Monica Boulevard, Ferrari North America and Ferrari Beverly Hills showcased a 2015 California T, 2013 Ferrari FF and a 1961 Ferrari 250 PF Cab. “The annual Rodeo Drive Concours is a world-class event that checks every box! Germany’s Autobahn, also known as the German term Bundesautobahen, is the federal controlled-access highway system in Germany that has no mandated speed limit for some classes of vehicles. Italy’s Autostrade is the Italian national motorways system. This system is the main toll road in North and Central Italy.
