About JWC
Our mission
The Joomla! World Conference returns for a fourth year, bringing together
Joomla’s global community for a conference of learning, sharing, collaborating, and strategic planning.
The Joomla! World Conference brings together developers, designers, site
administrators, business owners, and community members from around
the world. Our goal is to create a space for our community to grow in several
ways.
JWC started in 2012 in San Jose, CA, with a little over 200 attendees, and has grown every year,
moving to Boston in 2013, and Cancun in 2014. We are planning for over 500 attendees in 2015 as
we take a big jump to India. Our goal is to be able to include and engage our thriving and growing
Asian community.
Our theme for 2015 is a celebration of Joomla’s 10 amazing years as a world-class CMS. We also aim
to be an inspiration for the next decade of innovation, continuing to push the boundaries of what it
means to publish on the web.
Collaborate: Foster an environment where the Joomla community can plan, and strategize for
the future of the Joomla! Project
Learn: Present high quality sessions from Joomla! and industry experts, providing opportunities
to learn, and grow our knowledge about the web.
Network: JWC gathers hundreds of developers, designers, integrators, and business managers in
one place for a weekend. Not a conference goes by without clients being gained, business deals
being made, and partnerships being formed.

Joomla! World Conference 2015
Centrally located in India’s IT capital near the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, the hotel is set in an upscale lifestyle enclave with skyway access
to the World Trade Center and Orion Mall, the city’s largest shopping mall.
We are planning for over 500 attendees in 2015 as we take a big jump to India.
Our goal is to be able to include and engage our thriving and growing Asian
community.
JWC has negotiated special discount rates for our attendees at the Sheraton Hotel. We have rooms
available for USD159/night, with breakfast and wifi included, our JWC guests will have access to a
world class hotel, for affordable rates.
We have also negotiated with a strategic partner, the Le Meridien (a Starwood Properties Partner
offering 4-star quality hotels). Le Meridien is just a short walk from the Sheraton, with discounted
rates of USD96/night which are available for our JWC travelers.
