Tusker Identification Manual
T
he management of Corbett TR (CTR)
is requesting photos taken of adult
elephant tuskers between 2010-2015 from
photographers to help develop a tusker identication
manual (see back cover for example). We are
requesting for photos of tuskers taken within
the boundary of Corbett TR. Please send only
photographs of tuskers that can be clearly identified
and if possible photos taken from the front, side
and back of the elephant(refer to the sample
photographs in the brochure). Kindly include exif
information on date and time and also label the
file names with your name followed by the location
(e.g. Samir Sinha_Dhikala_tusker1.jpg). All photos
used will be acknowledged and photo credits will
be given. These photographs may be used by
CTR for management purposes such as research,
monitoring, awareness and trainings.
