CorDev Ltd - Customer Terms and Conditions
It is CorDev’s policy to comply with legislation and to give best customer service.
CorDev continually reviews and assesses the performance and competence of the subcontractors who undertake projects with CorDev.
The Terms and Conditions that CorDev operate under are as follows:
All containers delivered to site remain the property and responsibility of the supplier
who delivered them.
CorDev will liaise with the supplier on behalf of its customer with regard to all
container/waste activity.
CorDev will endeavour to meet the customer’s needs regarding container activity
and time allocations for sites requirements.
CorDev does not accept any responsibility for any damage to any container however
caused.
CorDev will only deliver containers when they have been given a purchase order
number and an official order from the customer in writing.
The Customer must provide CorDev with a site contact name and number.
All containers supplied through CorDev must be dealt with through CorDev and site
personnel must liaise through CorDev for any transactions required.
Transport drivers are expected to get a signed ticket for all transactions by
recognised site personnel, as proof of transaction.
Waiting time on site for drivers is expected to not exceed a reasonable delivery time
or wait and load as agreed.
Any wasted journey charges will be passed on to the customer, if it is a site error.
All reasonable steps will be taken by CorDev to ensure that site requirements are
met, regarding delivery and removal of waste/containers
All invoices must be paid within the agreed payment terms and date specified.

These Terms and Conditions shall regulate the provision of Services by CorDev Ltd
to the Customer.
The customer shall ensure that the Container is available and accessible for
collection at the time agreed between the Customer and CorDev when the request is
placed.
The Customer shall ensure and maintain that there is adequate and safe Vehicle
access to the Site and that there are safe facilities for manoeuvring the vehicle on or
at the Site.
Delivery of a Container to or at Site is made subject to the directions and instructions
of the Customer.
The Customer will also ensure that delivery or collection of any container to or from
Site is enabled to be carried out without risk of damage to the vehicle, its driver or its
load and without obstruction to the public highway.
If a Container is required by the Customer to be placed on the public highway, the
Customer is responsible for having obtained the necessary license from the
appropriate authority.
If a Container fitted with lights is placed on the public highway, the Customer must
ensure that the lights are switched on in the hours of darkness.
The Customer shall place the Waste in the Relevant Containers. If the Waste is not
placed in the Container then only the Container and/or the Waste in it will be
collected and the Customer must arrange for a separate collection time for the
surplus Waste.
The Customer must comply with all reasonable instructions from CorDev relating to
the use of the Container and must not:
Alter, adapt or damage a Container or affix anything onto a Container;
Place anything in a Container which is likely to damage a Container;
Light a fire in a Container;

Move a Container to an alternative location on Site without the Written Consent of
the owner of the Container;
Sublet, charge, lease, hire or part possession of any Container;
Deposit anything other than Waste in a Container;
Compact the Waste in or overfill any Container;
Exceed weight loading restrictions.
If prohibited Waste is found in a Container the Customer may be subject to an additional
charge in order for the Waste to be disposed of correctly.
The Customer is the sole owner and controller of the Waste placed in each Container and
must comply with its obligations in respect of the Waste under the law including (but not
limited to) Environmental Law.
If a Container has been overfilled, the Container will not be removed from site and the
Customer will be liable to remove the excess Waste before collection of the Container. This
may also incur an additional waiting fee or an additional haulage charge for returning to
collect the Container. In each case the Customer will be required to hire an additional
Container to remove the excess Waste.
If whilst on hire a Container is slightly damaged (fair wear and tear accepted) the Customer
shall indemnify the owner for the cost of repair to the Container and any direct
consequential cost arising from such damage.
If whilst on hire a Container is stolen, lost, destroyed or damaged beyond economic repair
the Customer shall indemnify the Owner in respect of such loss and any consequential loss
arising there from.
