AWARDS PROCESS & ADJUDICATION Awards - How they work CoreDance is committed to creating an environment in which accomplishments are recognized, while fostering a sense of healthy competition. As part of this commitment, we reward participants through a two-tiered awards system. • Each dance is individually scored and awarded with a bronze, silver, gold or platinum standing based on the score level. • In addition, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd highest-scoring dances in each category are recognized with a medal (solos) or trophy (groups). • We will also be awarding one “Adjudicators Choice” award per session—giving the adjudicators an opportunity to recognize unique talents and performances outside of the marking system. We are proud of all of our dancers, and encourage everyone to let their own, one-of-a-kind light shine on our stage!
