------------------------------ USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT-----------------------------Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at
Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and
Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting
Competitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider,
driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing
Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving
Competitions upon payment of a $30 Show Pass fee. Participants in the
following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2)
exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot and academy
classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson
program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA
Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who
have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National
Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage
Sport Horse Breeding classes.

Adult Amateur Hunter Eligibility: To be ridden by exhibitors who have reached their 18th birthday by December 1 of the current
competition year and who hold a current USEF Amateur certification. Open to horses and ponies. Cross Entry: Horses or Adult
Amateur riders entered in Adult Amateur Hunters may not compete in Amateur Owner Hunter sections at the same competition. Riders
may not show in any classes in which the fences are 3'9” or over at the same competition. Judging: To be judged on performance and
soundness, suitability to count. Height of Fences: Not to exceed 3'0”; spreads not to exceed height of fence. Combining/Dividing:
Refer to HU1123. Jog: Horses and Ponies are not required to jog for soundness. Awards: Zone Horse of the Year Awards will be
presented to the Adult Amateur Hunter 18-39 section , the Adult Amateur 40-55 section and the Adult Amateur 56 & Over section.
Children's Hunter Horse Eligibility: To be ridden by exhibitors who have not reached their 18th birthday by December 1 of the current
competition year. Cross Entry: Horses or riders entered in Adult Amateur Hunters may not compete in Junior Hunter sections at the
same competition. Riders may not show in any classes in which the fences are 3'9” or over at the same competition. Judging: To be
judged on performance and soundness, suitability to count. Height of Fences: Not to exceed 3'0”; spreads not to exceed height of
fence. Combining/Dividing: Refer to HU1123. Jog: Horses are not required to jog for soundness. Awards: Zone Horse of the Year
Awards will be presented to the Children's Hunter 13 & Under section, and the Children's 14-17 section.
Childrens Hunter Pony Eligibility: To be ridden by exhibitors who have not reached their 18th birthday by December 1 of the current
show year. Cross Entry: Ponies man not cross into any other rated sections at the same competition. Children's Hunter Pony riders
may compete on a maximum of one (1) Children's Hunter Horse section at the same competition and in any class not to exceed 3'0”
(Exception: Pony Jumpers). Green and Regular Hunter Pony riders may compete on a maximum of one (1) additional pony in the
Childrens Hunter Pony section at the same competition. Judging: To be judged on performance and soundness, suitability to count.
Combing/Dividing: Classes may run as one or split Small/Medium and Large to run at 2', 2'3” and 2'6” respectively. Refer to HU112.
Jog: Ponies are not required to jog for soundness. Awards: Zone Horse of the Year Awards will be presented annually to the Childrens
Hunter Pony-Small/Medium sedtion and the Chldren's Hunter Pony-Large section. Suggested distances for the Childrens Hunter Pony
sections: a. 2' Small Children's Hunter Pony should be (based on a 9'9” stride): 4 strides at 48'9”; 5 strides at 58'6”; 6 strides at 68'3”; 7
strides at 78'8”; 8 strides at 87'9”. b. 2'3” Medium Children's Hunter Pony should be (based on an 10'3” stride): 4 strides at 51'3”; 5
strides at 61'6”; 6 strides at 71'9”; 8 strides at 92'3”. c. 2'6” Large Children's Pony Hunter should be (based on an 11' stride): 4 strides
at 55'; 5 strides at 66'; 6 strides at 77'; 7 strides at 88'; 8 strides at 99'
Pre-Green
Eligibility: Apre-Green hunter is a horse in its first two consecutive years of showing in any class with fences set at 3'0” or 3'3” in height,
regardless of age, that has never shown in any class with fences set at 3'6” or higher. The following conditions apply to Pre-Green
reinstatement: a. A horse in not eligible to receive a Pre-Green reinstatement if the horse has competed in any class with fences set at
3'6” or higher. b. A horse is eligible to receive a Pre-Green reinstatement for a future competition year if the horse has not shown in an
class with fences set at 3'0” or 3'3” in height at more than four (4) competitions prior to September 1 and if it was not shown at that
height after September 1 in that same year. Cross Entry: Horses Horses man not cross-enter into 3'6” divisions. Horses are able to
cross enter into Pre-Green 3'0” and 3'3” sections at the same competition. Judging: To be judged on performance and soundness,
suitability to count. Height of Fences: 3'0” - 3'3” spreads not to exceed height of fence. Jog: Horses are not required to jog for
soundness. Awards: Zone Horse of the Year Awards will be presented annually for the Pre-Green 3'0” section and the Pre-Green 3'3”
section.
AGE GROUP EQUITATION
Equitation 12 & under, Equitation 13-15, Equitation 16-17
Eligibility; To be ridden by exhibitors who have not reached their 18th birthday by December 1 of the current competition year. Cross
Entry; No cross entry restriction into other section for horse and rider unless stated in prize list. Judging: To be judged on performance,
style, form and suitability of horse and rider to count. Height of Fence: Fence height to be set at 2'9” - 3'3” with spreads not to exceed
fence height. Combining/Dividing Sections: Refer to HU112. Awards: Zone Horse of the Year Awards will be presented annually to the
Equitation 12 & Under section, the Equitation 13-15 section and the Equitation 16-17 section.
ADULT EQUITATION
Adult Equitation 19-39, Adult Equitation 40-55, Adult Equitation 56 & over
Eligibility: To be ridden by exhibitors who have reached their 18th birthday by December 1 of the current competition year and who hold
a current USEF Amateur certification. Open to horses and ponies. Cross Entry: No cross entry restrictions in another section for horse
and rider unless stated in the prize list. Judging: To be judged on performance, style, form and suitability of horse and rider to count.
Height of Fences: Fence height to be set at 2'9” - 3'3” with spreads not to exceed fence height. Combining/Dividing Sections: Refer to
HU112. Awards: Zone Horse of the Year Awards will be presented annually to the Adult Equitation 18-39, the Adult Equitation 40-55
section and the Adult Equitation 56 & Over section.
RULES & REGULATIONS
EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT USEF
RULE BOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH
All questions not covered in these rules and regulations shall be decided by the show management whose decision is final.
Every horse entered for competition will comply with the rules of the horse show management, but management will, in no case, be
responsible for any loss or damage that may occur, and it shall be condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold this horse show and
the officials and employees of the show blameless for any loss or accident to his horse, employees, equipment, which may occur from
sickness, fire or otherwise.
The management reserves the right to refuse, accept conditionally, or to cancel any entries, disqualify any riders or exhibitors, prohibit
entries and cancel award prizes without claims for damages; to cancel or combine unfilled classes, or to reschedule classes after due
notice to exhibitors; to change rings or rotate judges.
Exhibitors are notified that any act of discourtesy or disobedience to the judges or officials, on the part of the owner, manager, rider, or
groom shall disqualify the horse, and the owner shall forfeit his entry fee and other fees.
Show management reserves to itself the power to prohibit any person from attending or showing a horse in the ring and to remove any
groom or horse from the show without being liable for compensation.
In accordance with the 1989 Federal Waste Tracking Act, which restricts the disposal of medical waste, bio-hazardous material waste
containers will be provided in the stable area. All exhibitors and their agents are responsible for the proper disposal of waste.
No person will be allowed in the show ring during the time of judging except the exhibitor and those having official or requested duties
to perform.
It is the tradition of the show that riders be correctly attired for the class in question, that attendants be neatly dressed and the horses
properly presented. Management may in its discretion bar any person from entering the ring if not suitably presented to appear before
an audience.
GENERAL INFORMATION
CLOSING OF ENTRIES: Entries close May 24th, 2015. Entries may be sent to Wade Worley by: Mail: 8310 NW Kaiser Rd. Portland,
OR 97231 Fax: (503) 351-3253 Web: WWW.HORSESHOWTIME.COM ENTRY PROCEDURES: Only complete entries, by the
following specifications, will be accepted. Incomplete entries will not be processed. Exhibitors must pay either by cash or check on the
day of the horse show. Exhibitors may choose to pre-pay all fees before the closing date of entries. All accounts to be closed by
6:00pm on the day of the horse show. To be complete, entry forms must include: (i) Horse’s name and complete descriptions, (ii) All
classes or sections entered, (iii) All mandatory signatures, and (iv) Organization membership numbers. Trainers and owners may leave
a signed open checks during the horse show. No personal checks will be cashed at the show. Please plan accordingly.
CREDENTIALS: Participants must present the following credentials for their points to count: It is strongly recommend that photo
copies be sent in with your entry. USEF/USHJA/ASPCA/EC membership card USEF/USHJA horse recording or ID number
USEF/USHJA amateur certification RETURNED CHECKS: There will be a penalty of $50 per check returned by the bank for any
reason. No checks will be processed through the bank a second time. If a check is returned after the horse show, it will be handled in
accordance with USEF GR913. USEF FEES: For every horse participating in any competition recognized by the USEF, a $16 USEF
fee will be collected ($8 shall be a Drugs & Medication fee to provide for research, inspection and enforcement of rules regarding use
of medications and drugs; see GR407.1.2&3). And a $2 USHJA Zone Fee MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATION: Participants (in other than
opportunity classes) must present to the show secretary a current U.S. Equestrian Federation membership card or copy thereof., or if
not a member must pay a $30 nonmember registration. Membership may be obtained online at USEF.org, or at the show. Exhibitors
and trainers must be current members of the ASPCA/NHSAA and must show their ASPCA numbers on the entry blank. THIS, Open to
all Junior members of the USEF and Equine Canada who have never competed in a National Equitation Final with fences at 3'6".
ARIAT, Open to all Amateur members of USEF and Equine Canada who are eligible to compete in the Adult Amateur Hunter Section at
this show. A rider may not compete at the same horse show in any hunter or equitation class in which the jumps exceed three feet,
three inches (3'3"). MANAGEMENT: Management reserves the right to cancel any classes that do not fill to their satisfaction.
Management will provide a full refund of entry fees for classes that do not fill or are cancelled due to severe weather or other
emergency. Management reserves the right to start the first class of any session 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time if entries
or weather warrants and can make changes of arenas, judges, schooling or class orders to facilitate time schedule and conditions.
POST ENTRIES AND CHANGES: Post entries and changes to entries will be accepted before a class for an additional charge of $5
per class. TROPHIES, RIBBONS, PRIZE MONEY: Trophy and ribbons will be awarded to eight places in all classes. No prize money
is offered. HORSE SHOW OFFICE HOURS: 8:00am-6:00pm on the day of the horse show. STABLING: A limited number of permanent
12’x12’ stalls with doors will be available beginning Saturday for a charge of $60 for a day or $90 for two days. Please indicate arrival
and departure date and who you are to be stabled with on the entry blank. HAUL-INS: There will be a $25 fee SCHOOLING AND
EXERCISE: Schooling/warm-up areas will be available from Saturday 4pm to 7:00pm & Sunday 7am to 8:45am on the day of the
horse show. Management may limit Schooling in the show rings to preserve footing conditions. SHARPS CONTAINER: Located by
wash stall MOTORIZED VEHICLES: Minors who do not have a valid driver's license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle
in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts,
motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary
license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver's license.
The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized
vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation.
Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible forthe child
committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition
grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter
6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. DOGS: Dogs must be
on a leash at all times and Owners will be fined $50 for dogs loose on the grounds ($100 in arena/schooling areas). ARENAS &
FOOTING: Indoor Ring is 100’x200’ - Hogs Fuel, Outdoor Ring is 120'x240' – Sand, Indoor Warm-up 60x100 – Hogs Fuel.
PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR: In accordance with Rule GR801, all exhibitors must wear protective head gear (that meets or exceeds
ASTM standards and carry the SEI tag) while mounted anywhere on the show grounds. In addition, all junior riders must comply with
USEF GR318. Any rider violating these rules at any time will immediately be prohibited from further riding until his/her head gear is
properly In compliance with these rules. CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION:. Cornerstone Equestrian will in no case be responsible for
any loss or damage that may occur and it shall be a condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold Cornerstone Equestrian, The
United States Equestrian Federation, the ASPCA and the National Horse Show Association of America (including their officers,
directors, officials, agents, servants, volunteers and employees) harmless for any illness, loss or accident which may occur by fire or
otherwise. All owners and competitors are personally responsible for damages to third persons caused by themselves, their
employees, their agents or their horses/ponies. They therefore are strongly advised to take out third-party insurance providing full
coverage for participation in equestrian events at home and abroad, and to keep the policy up to date.

FEDERATION ENTRY AGREEMENT
By entering a Federation-licensed Competition and signing this entry blank as the Owner, Lessee, Trainer, Manager,
Agent, Coach, Driver, Rider, Handler, Vaulter or Longeur and on behalf of myself and my principals, representatives,
employees and agents, I agree that I am subject to the Bylaws and Rules of The United States Equestrian Federation,
Inc. (the “Federation”) and the local rules of (Competition). I agree to be bound by the Bylaws and Rules of the
Federation and of the competition. I will accept as final the decision of the Hearing Committee on any question arising
under the Rules, and agree to release and hold harmless the competition, the Federation, their officials, directors and
employees for any action taken under the Rules. I represent that I am eligible to enter and/or participate under the Rules,
and every horse I am entering is eligible as entered. I also agree that as a condition of and in consideration of acceptance
of entry, the Federation and/or the Competition may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, cable - casts,
broadcasts, internet, film, new media or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the competition
for the promotion, coverage or benefit of the competition, sport, or the Federation. Those likenesses shall not be used to
advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way as to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly and
irrevocably waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of
privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. The construction and application of Federation rules are governed by the
laws of the State of New York, and any action instituted against the Federation must be filed in New York State. See
GR908.4.
Federation Release, Assumption of Risk, Waiver, and Indemnification
This document waives import ant legal rights. Read it carefully before signing.
I AGREE in consideration for my participation in this Competition to the following:
I AGREE that the “Federation” and “Competition” as used herein includes the Licensee and Competition Management, as
well as all of their officials, officers, directors, employees, agents, personnel, volunteers and Federation affiliates.
I AGREE that I choose to participate voluntarily in the Competition with my horse, as a rider, driver, handler, vaulter,
longeur, lessee, owner, agent, coach, trainer, or as parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor. I am fully aware and
acknowledge that horse sports and the Competition involve inherent dangerous risks of accident, loss, and serious bodily
injury including broken bones, head injuries, trauma, pain, suffering, or death. (“Harm”).
I AGREE to hold harmless and release the Federation and the Competition from all claims for money damages or
otherwise for any Harm to me or my horse and for any Harm of any nature caused by me or my horse to others, even if
the Harm arises or results, directly or indirectly, from the negligence of the Federation or the Competition.
I AGREE to expressly assume all risks of Harm to me or my horse, including Harm resulting from the negligence of the
Federation or the Competition.
I AGREE to indemnify (that is, to pay any losses, damages, or costs incurred by) the Federation and the Competition and
to hold them harmless with respect to claims for Harm to me or my horse, and for claims made by others for any Harm
caused by me or my horse while at the Competition. I have read the Federation Rules about protective equipment,
including GR801 and, if applicable, EV114, and I understand that I am entitled to wear protective equipment without
penalty, and I acknowledge that the Federation strongly en courages me to do so while WARNING that no protective
equipment can guard against all injuries. If I am a parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor, I consent to the child’s
participation and AGREE to all of the above provisions and AGREE to assume all of the obligations of this Release on the
child’s behalf I represent that I have the requisite training, coaching and abilities to safely compete in this competition.
I AGREE that if I am injured at this competition, the medical personnel treating my injuries may provide information on my
injury and treatment to the Federation on the official USEF accident/injury report form.
BY SIGNING BELOW, I AGREE to be bound by all applicable Federation Rules and all terms and provisions of this entry
blank and all terms and provisions of this Prize List. If I am signing and submitting this Agreement electronically, I
acknowledge that my electronic signature shall have the same validity, force and effect as if I affixed my signature by my
