Entries must be postmarked Monday, May 4, 2015. No Late Entries 2. Entry fees (Money Orders or Cashiers Checks Only) in the correct amount must accompany entry form. Absolutely no refunds for any reason after May 16, 2015. No Personal Checks! 3. Contestants must be 6-18 years old as of January 1, 2015. Copy of Birth Certificate and Entry with Parents/Legal Guardian Notarized signature must accompany each entry. If not, entry will be returned. Birth Certificate will be returned when picking up numbers. 4. Draw will be posted on May 19th , please check the web page www.corningjrrodeo.com for the draw at that time. 5. There will be an office charge of 15% on any entries returned. 6. All contestants will pay to enter Rodeo. This will be refunded when number is picked up. 7. DRESS CODE: Contestants must wear western hat and long sleeve shirt while in arena. Number must be worn on back at all times. 8. JUDGES DECISIONS WILL BE FINAL! California High School Rodeo Rules will be followed EXCEPT for POINT SYSTEM and PAYOFF! 9. AWARDS a. Buckles for first place in each event b. 75% payback. 1-4 entries: 1 money, 5-12 entries: 60%-40%, 13-20 entries: 50%-30%-20%, 21-30 entries: 40%-30%-20%-10%, over 30 entries: 30%-25%-20%-15%-10%, over 50 entries: 29%-24%-19%-14%-9%-5% c. All Around Saddle for Senior Cowboy and Cowgirl d. All Around Spurs to Junior Cowboy and Cowgirl e. All Around Buckle for Junior and Senior Cowboy and Cowgirl f. All Around Cowgirl and Cowboy shall be determined by contestant with the most money won who is entered in more than one event. Ties will be broken by number of events entered and placed in. g. If a contestant places in Team Roping more than once, only the highest placing will count towards all around standings 10. DECISIONS OF RODEO COMMITTEE WILL BE FINAL! 11. A chute draw will be used. 12. Contestant and one helper with pass behind chutes only! 13. There is a $5.00 rough stock fee included in Rough Stock Events Fees. 14. NO DOGS WITHIN RODEO GROUNDS, CITY ORDINANCE #7.08.020 15. We the Corning Jr. Rodeo Committee reserve the right to refuse any entry. 16. In case of a 1st place tie the 1st and 2nd place money will be split and a coin will be tossed for the Buckle. NO RIDE/RUN OFFS. 17. In case of no qualified ride in roughstock events, buckle winner will be determined by longest ride and there will be no ground split.
