Times are:- we have been asked to be there at
11:00hrs for 12:00hrs. But, it may well be
prudent for us to get there for 10:00hrs to ride in
en-mass - okay as a group. For
this it is suggested we RV in
the main car park of the
Agricultural Centre. Because
visitors will be there from
around 09:00 to look at the
vintage vehicles, we could get there earlier if
needed.
We have been set up on the hard-standing - the
pathway through the middle of the park - so no
grass-tracking. I will enquire re having our
gazebo/stall there with merchandise to raise for
the PA. The invite also asks if we want to ride in
the procession again. I did say about us leading
this year so the slow pace will not affect us like
before. That was received okay.

There’s an official RC RIDE-IN to the
summer F2 Motorcycles BBQ. Join Editor
Westworth and sundry other RC regulars at
F2’s base at 290 Leverington Common,
Wisbech, PE13 5JG.
Bring your own grub from noon until 4pm.
David and the F2 team will supply the BBQs
(including a 'vegetarian food only' one),
charcoal, butter, sauces, plates, cutlery, tea and
coffee. You bring yourself, something to cook
on the BBQ and a bun to put it in. There is no
charge for this event, but donations to the
charity collection boxes are appreciated.
Please arrive on a motorcycle if possible
(very limited space for cars).
Test rides on the new Mash 400, Honley 250
and Jawa 350 can be arranged (in advance,
time permitting: prebooking essential), and
everyone can admire the other interesting
bikes and sidecars supplied by F2. There will
also be prizes awarded in the extremely
informal RC Carpark Concours, so ideally do
bring something oily and scruffy for us to
admire.

Are you up for a challenge? Can you walk on
Fire? Can we raise thousands of pounds
sponsorship for the RBL?
The Riders
Branch (East)
have organised a
Firewalking event
and secured a
fantastic venue in
the Army Cadet
Force HQ in Waterbeach, who have provided
the facility for us free of charge including
training room, outside area for the Firewalk,
BBQ area and bar, dormitory sleeping
facilities for those that want to stay over and a
full Army breakfast for a fiver on the Sunday
morning.
There will be a cost for you to be a firewalker
of £30 which we will ask from you at
registration for the event.
We would then ask for each walker to aim to
raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship.
We are aiming for at least 50 walkers but can
take a maximum of 100.
No dogs
Cars & vans by prior arrangement only.

SERVICES
Halo Smart Protect is a unique treatment system developed and supplied by
All Year Biker.
We all know winter road salt is a killer for bikes, but here are a few things you might
not be aware of:




During the rest of the year environmental fall-out, sea spray and even animal
waste can cause corrosion.
In certain conditions animal waste on the roads can be up to 3 times more
corrosive than road salt.
Washing alone will not prevent corrosion, in fact trapped cleaning water can
often start the process.
Corrosion rarely ‘starts’ where you can see it but once established it can spread
alarmingly fast.
There is now a Lincolnshire based Operative so you can have your bike treated without
having to travel miles. Trevor Bridgwood (Riders Branch Member) is based just outside
Lincoln and covers LN, DN and some NG postcodes. If you are interested in getting
your bike protected then give me a call. For more information visit the All Year Biker
