international release of new "FISHERMAN" beanies - handmade beanies for

handmade by Tsunami survivors, matching interests of both knitters and users.
Another meaning of the product: The series are all handmade in a small fishing
village of Minami Sanriku, Japan, where the whole city was swept away by
Tsunami attack on March 11th, 2011. LADE clothing has collaborated with a
local volunteering group called "Otagaisama Project", in a mission for job
creation initiatives in the area, and began working with a group of women who
had a basic knitting skill and a will. As it's bringing people a chance to gather,
chat, laugh, smile, and a job opportunity at the same time, the company believes
that knitting can support recovery of the area in many ways.
