BASH 2015 Social Committee – Volunteer Information for Saturday, April 25 Social / Bartenders Co-Chairs: Pat and Rene Dytrych (upper level bar) 402-558-0876 home or 402-707-4104 Rene’s cell [email protected] Anne Troia (lower level bar) 402-561-9498 home or 402-650-6816 cell [email protected] Social / Wine Servers Chairs: Susan and Ralph Corpuz 402-597-1012 home or 402-208-3177 Susan’s cell [email protected] Times  Set-up will take place on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  All BASH activities will take place in the Heider Center and we will have two bar locations: 1) upper level in the concession area and 2) lower level gym floor in the south court.  Upper level bar – open from 4:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.; volunteer shift runs from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.  Lower level bar – open from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.; volunteer shifts run from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m.  Wine committee will begin opening bottles at 5:30 p.m. and place on tables before dinner. One bottle of red and one bottle of white on each table. Committee to replenish wine throughout the entire evening. Committee will bring wine bottle openers. Caterer should not open any wine. STUDENTS MAY NOT HANDLE ANY ALCOHOL OR TRANSPORT DRINKS TO GUESTS. Check-In Volunteers should park on the west side of the building and enter thru the Campus Center entrance. We will provide directional signs for our volunteers. Check-in will take place in the Campus Center where they will receive their name tag and directions. The volunteer appreciation dinner, compliments of Sam & Louie’s New York Pizzeria, will also be served in the Campus Center from 4:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Volunteers can eat before their shift, after their shift or take turns during their shift. BidPal Volunteers will be provided a bid number if they wish to bid on items. All bidding will be done wirelessly through BidPal directly on your smartphone. Kiosks will be available for those without smartphones. As a volunteer, if you wish to bid on items in the silent auction from your smartphone and don’t receive a text message on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. with the link, please visit the main guest registration table in the Smith Atrium. Attire You should wear khaki pants or shorts or jeans, a Creighton Prep shirt and comfortable shoes. If you would rather not wear a Creighton Prep shirt, please wear your favorite “GAMEDAY” attire. ESPN GameDay has donated some shirts that may be available for adult volunteers to wear, if they’d like. They will be at the check-in table. Mass There will be a Mass offered at 5:00 p.m. and also at 15 minutes after the live auction has ended (approximately 10:10 p.m.). Both Masses will be offered in the Skinner Chapel and volunteers are welcome to attend.
