It enables calculation of the optimal route for accessing the event location and gives overview about the global situation of the defined area. Integration with external services (e.g. GIS) can be used to improve the operator’s impression of the event to improve his view on the intervention team status and enable reliable communications (GPS modules in intervention team vehicles, TETRA communication units).
