EMBARKED TETRA CAB RADIO FROM AEG Belgium ‐ AEG TCR100
The AEG TCR 100 is an universal telecommunica on on‐board equipment, based on TETRA technology, desig‐
ned for voice and data communica on to be installed in the driver cabins of metros, trams and trains.
It enables high quality and reliable voice communica ons between drivers and control centers and controllers
in the field. It enables also the recep on and transmi on of various data such as alarms from/to management
servers and external systems.
The ICR 100 is integrated in one box IP20 where all the electronics is placed.
The radio module is mounted inside the box. The ICR 100 itself is mounted in a
19 inch rack as seen on the pictures. This rack is a standard 3U rack, with a
width of 183 mm (36 TE). The ICR100 box is mounted in the rack with a quick
release mechanism and a heavy duty floa ng connector for railways applica ‐
ons. This allows to exchange the interface within less than 5 minutes. Other
kinds of supports all including this quick release mechanism are also available.
The AEG Tetra Cab Radio TCR 100 design is modular and flexible‐minded. All the func ons can be customized
according to specific needs. It integrates a state‐of‐the art hardware and so ware pla orm with Ethernet in‐
terfaces and Linux embedded opera ng system.
