HOGS FOR HOMELESS APPEARANCE AT CENTRAL COAST
The Hogs for Homeless riders will reunite at Zibara Clothing on the Central Coast this Saturday to thank the local
community for their support of the 2015 ride.
Brad Fittler, Nathan Hindmarsh, Steve Menzies and Josh Perry will be available for interviews and vision.

NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS VISIT SINGLETON
THE Newcastle Knights will host an official training session in
Singleton, which will be open to the entire community, as part of
the Hunter Coal Festival.
In the week leading up to the Voice For Mining Family Day at
Hunter Stadium on March 28, the Knights and NSW Mining are
teaming up to bring the entire first grade squad to the heartland
of the Hunter’s mining community.
The Knights will hold a full training session, run a junior clinic for
a number of local schools invited to participate and spend time
with fans, miners and their families.
RONALD McDONALD HOUSE CHARITY SHIELD IN WAGGA
Wagga Wagga will host a festival of Rugby League this weekend in support of Ronald McDonald House and the
naming and opening of the new grandstand at McDonalds Park.
Six teams from rural and metropolitan New South Wales
will take part in the shield with Wagga Kangaroos, Wagga
Brothers, Southcity Bulls, Queanbeyan Blues,
Queanbeyan Kangaroos and the Coogee Dolphins taking
part in three games throughout the day with gates
opening from 11:30am.
The new grandstand at McDonalds Park will be opened
by Wagga Wagga Mayor, Councillor Rod Kendall and
Country Rugby League Junior Vice-President, Bob Walsh.
UPGRADE FOR TOWNSON OVAL TO BOOST SOUTHS NEWCASTLE
South Newcastle Rugby League club received a boost
this week with a $50,000 Footy Funds grant being
approved for Townson Oval, Merewether. The money
will be used to construct a brick shed / storage and
meeting facility that will be utilised by both the South
Newcastle Rugby League club and Merewether District
Cricket Club and their supporters. The NSW Minister for
Fair Trading, The Hon. Matthew Mason-Cox and Liberal
Candidate Karen Howard presented the funding with
members of the South Newcastle Rugby League,
Merewether District Cricket Club and Country Rugby
League in attendance.
