ECONOMIC ANALYSIS & SURVEYS
the european comission's
economic report:
croatia a country with
excessive imbalances
As part of the European
Semester, the European
Commission has
published an economic
report on Croatia in
February determining
excessive macroeconomic
imbalances for the
second time in a row. This
requires from Croatia a
specific monitoring and
decisive policy action.
Croatia is expected to
submit its National Reform
Programme by the end
of April. In case the
programme is not approved
by the Commission, the
procedure for correcting
macroeconomic imbalances
will be launched. The full
report is available at
WORLD BANK'S Doing
Business 2015: CROATIA
65TH OF 189 COUNTRIES
Croatia is ranked 65th
of 189 economies as for
how easy or difficult it is
for a local entrepreneur
to open and run a small
to medium-size business
when complying with
relevant regulations. An
increase of two places
when compared with
2014 accounts mainly to
the ease of dealing with
construction permits
and to lower start-up
costs. On the downside,
corporate taxes in
Croatia became more
complicated.

EUR 1.500 for the Neonatal Unit of the General Hospital
Sveti Duh in Zagreb. This was made possible thanks to
donations from the sponsors of the Dutch Stand. Thank
you,once again!
