For information & prayer, 29 March 2015 Vacancy Process Update The PCC has voted unanimously to hold interviews for the new vicar of Crofton on the 10th November, the choice of dates limited by the availability of the Bishop (Patron of the parish and on the Interview Panel). This notwithstanding, the PCC believes that this date allows time for proper consultation with our congregations and for discerning the key areas where we hope the new incumbent will lead us forward. Towards the end of April all church members will be invited to contribute to the discernment process by means of a questionnaire asking us to consider: where we are as a parish, where we would like to be, and what sort of person we might choose to get us there. Please speak to the churchwardens or PCC members if you have any questions. Kate and John’s leaving tea party is this afternoon, 4.30pm to 6pm in the main hall. If you are coming please bring a plate of sandwiches, cakes or savoury nibbles to share. Contributions towards a gift for Kate, in recognition of her faithful service to this parish, to be put in a marked envelope and handed to wardens, or church office, or put in the offering. Kate and John’s last Sunday at Crofton will be Easter Sunday. Kate’s licensing as Vicar at Hart Plain Church is on Thursday 23rd April, 6.45pm.
