Dear Exhibitors,
We look forward to seeing you at this years ‘Cross the
Meadow Farm horse shows.
Our first show will be held at the beautiful Savoy
Stables in Littleton and will once again be a fund raiser
for the Claire Davis Fund. We appreciate Mary Dunahay
and Brianna Davis allowing us to show at their wonderful
facility
‘Cross the Meadow is pleased that the second show will
again be held at the Budweiser Event Center, also known
as The Ranch. This facility boasts large indoor and
outdoor rings, as well as plenty of large, airy stalls for
your horses comfort. During this show, we will be raising
funds for Rosie’s Ranch, a therapeutic riding center for
hearing impaired children.

'Cross the Meadow Farm
Rules and Regulations
Show will be run according to CHJA rules & regulations
1. Entries close Thursday, June 11th, 7 p.m. for Show I; and Thursday
June 18th 7 p.m. for Show II. Late and day of show entries will be
accepted with a $25.00 late fee.
2. All checks should be made payable to ‘Cross the Meadow Farm
There will be a $50.00 fee for returned checks. Any returned checks
must be paid in cash or certified funds within 10 days.
3. Adds and scratches will be allowed. Show scratches will be
refunded; less the cost of any classes completed, office and EMT fees
and stall/paddock fees, if applicable.
4. Show management reserves the right to cancel, combine, divide,
and/or move any classes.
5. “No judges” will be allowed for hunter classes, time permitting.
6. Limited stalls will be available for $35/day Show I, and plenty of
stalls will be available for $35/day Show II. Shavings will be available for
sale, Show II.
7. Approved helmets must be worn at all times while mounted.
8. Champion and Reserve will be awarded in all divisions. First place

award and ribbons through 6 , Classics through 12 .
9. A one minute gate will be imposed if management finds it necessary.
10. Loose pets will not be allowed. Please keep your pets leashed at
all times.
11. Please respect our hosts’ property and do not throw cigarettes on the
ground. Use ash cans provided!
12. Proper show attire required. Jumper riders are to wear shirts with
collar and sleeves; Equitation and Hunter Classic riders are to wear
hunt coats. ** Exception-non rated schooling divisions
13. Non showing horses will be charged an office and EMT fee and
stall/grounds fee.

‘Cross the Meadow Farm Hunter Classics- June 20 & June 21
Beg. Jr. / Beg. Adult 2’6"- 2’9”
CHJA Jr. / CHJA Adult 3’
Scores will be given in the second round of the riders respective hunter divisions. .
Jumps will consist of natural obstacles i.e. coops, gates, straw bales, brush, logs
etc. Horses will be judged on style and brilliance.. First place trophy and ribbons to

Dion Dana Memorial Equitation Classic - Sat. June 20th
Fences 2’6”-2 -9”
Open to all Beginner Amateur and Beginner Junior riders. Riders must have
entered and competed in at least two Equitation over fences classes (Medal class
counts). Scores will be given in the second equitation o/f of their respective
divisions. First place trophy and ribbons to 12th place.
These shows are participating in the Claire Davis
Junior Equitation Challenge. Points for CHJA Jr.
Equitation classes will be tabulated throughout the
year. Donations will be accepted for the Claire
Davis Fund. The year-end winner will receive a
cooler donated by Kathy Bauer and monogrammed
by Betsy Hook.

Both ‘Cross the Meadow shows are fundraisers for two very
special groups. Your support of these shows will also help to
support :
The Claire Davis Fund. A charitable fund that will support
mental and behavioral health programs for young people, antibulling programs, and other efforts aimed at ending school
violence.
Rosie’s Ranch. A therapeutic riding program specializing in
working with hearing impaired children.
Donations will be accepted and appreciated during the
shows!
