Full-Time Instructor Position in Epidemiology / Applied Biostatistics
The Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado
State University in Fort Collins, Colorado is accepting applications for a full-time
instructor position in graduate-level epidemiology / applied epidemiologic
methods / applied biostatistics within the Graduate Degree Program in Public
Health. This full-time, 12-month position is located within a unique multidisciplinary environment with a history of excellence in epidemiologic research
and teaching programs. The faculty member will be an integral member of the
Colorado School of Public Health and the Graduate Degree Program in Public
Health at Colorado State University.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent in Epidemiology,
Biostatistics, or a closely-related field. Teaching expectations will be 9-12 credits
per semester. Previous teaching experience is required; successful candidates will
have a history of demonstrated excellence in teaching. Candidates with the ability
to teach graduate-level introductory epidemiology, advanced epidemiology,
environmental and occupational epidemiology, molecular epidemiology, applied
regression methods, statistical software programming (e.g., SAS, R, STATA, SPSS,
etc.), and/or introductory biostatistics are preferred; other relevant teaching
expertise will also be considered. Applications from candidates with an ability to

This position will be located within the Department of Environmental and
Radiological Health Sciences (www.cvmbs.colostate.edu/erhs). The position
will serve both the home Department as well as the Graduate Degree Program
in Public Health (www.publichealth.colostate.edu). The Department of
Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences is home to over 120
undergraduate Environmental Health students, over 140 graduate students,
and 41 faculty members. Graduate students pursue degrees (MS, PhD) in
Environmental Health, specializing in Epidemiology, among others. The
Department has a strong tradition in environmental epidemiology, cancer
epidemiology, reproductive epidemiology, indoor and ambient air pollution,
respiratory and cardiovascular health, occupational health, ergonomics,
toxicology, and radiation cancer biology. Colorado State University, along with
