Young Life is an organization that reaches out to
middle and high school students, giving them the
opportunity to hear about the love of God through
Jesus Christ in a non-threatening and relational
atmosphere. Young Life has been reaching out to
teenagers in Culpeper County for 11 years. Currently Young Life Culpeper is ministering to 400 students. A new component of the mission is YoungLives for high school/middle school girls who are
expecting or are raising a child on their own.

”High school was tough, and if it wasn’t for Young
Life I wouldn’t stand where I am today. Young Life
helped to show me what this crazy, exciting, yet
broken life is about. Young Life opened my eyes and
showed me that God was working around us all the
time. Being able to go to camp and have the best
week of my life meant the world to me. I was able
to escape the harsh realities of this world and focus
on God, and God only, for a week. I learned about
Christ and his everlasting love. It was during the best
week of my life that I turned my life over to Christ.
Thanks to Young Life, I now have a relationship
that’s stronger than any relationship I’ll have while
I’m on this Earth: a relationship with Jesus Christ. If
it wasn’t for Young Life, I would be a lost and broken
nineteen year old college student trying desperately
to find a purpose in this life.

TWO WAYS TO PLAY
1) Leisure all Day Play - Golfers find sponsors to
financially support them and play all day.
2) Tournament Play - Golfers compete and play
a 9 hole individual stroke play tournament
for a fee of $65.00 per person or $200 a
foursome.

1) Leisure All Day Play - (7:00am – dusk)
•
Golfers will play as much golf as they want!
•
Golfers proactively find sponsors to financially
support them in their effort to complete as many
holes as they want. Golfers can secure their own
“caddie” who can help gather sponsors and help
play holes of golf during the event.
•
Sponsors will pledge on a per-hole-completed
basis or lump sum. The sponsors can be either
private (family and friends) or corporate
(contacts who are business owners). Each golfer
or golfer/caddie team is requested to raise
$1,000 with a minimum commitment of $500.
•
Golf cart and balls will be provided.
•
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks/drinks will be provided. An awards dinner will be held immediately following the event.
•
The golfer or golfer/caddie team who raises the
most money will have first pick of all prizes.
Some Outstanding Prizes:
A week stay at a diamond resort (your
choice), an ocean front beach house,
Outer Banks, NC, gift certificates from
golf courses and fine dining restaurants.
2) 9 Hole Tournament - (3:00pm)
•
Golfers compete in a 9 hole individual stroke play
tournament.
•
Fee - $65.00 per person or $200 a foursome.
This includes greens fees, golf cart, dinner and an
opportunity to win prizes and trophy.

An awards ceremony and dinner will be held immediately following the tournament in the club
house.

requested to raise $1,000 with a minimum commitment
of $500 for this worthwhile cause.

We would love to have a business sponsor underwrite
the cost of the Young Life Fundraiser. This would include: 4 golfers, your logo/name on all correspondence, a
large vinyl banner, 27 hole signs, in media coverage,
newsletter, and on all t-shirts.
