Company Background
The Heaton Group is a family run business based in the North West that has been acquiring property, land and completing renovation projects
over the last forty years. Investment initially centred on Wigan and gradually spread in to Greater Manchester, Merseyside & surrounding
boroughs.
Over time, sustained expansion and diversity of our own portfolio has led to organic growth and the development of skills within Heaton
Group. More recently these skills have been marketed externally to investors and investment funds. What was once a small family team

What is a HMO?2
A HMO “House in Multiple Occupancy” is a any property in which more than one householder shares amenities. Some HMO’s require a license
in accordance with the Housing Act 2004. However, all HMO’s must comply with building regulations.
