Each barn will form a team of junior/amateur riders who would like to participate. Each trainer will choose 4 riders from their team to ride for points at each club show. These four riders may vary from show to show. Barns may combine if they do not have enough riders. 2. At the start of the show each team trainer will go to the office and provide riders names and which classes are to be counted for points. This group and their classes may not change once the show has begun. 3. Riders will accumulate points in 3 classes over fences held at a height of 2'6" and under. A walk/trot or walk/trot/canter rider may accumulate points from their warm-up or flat class if they have only two classes over fences. 4. The riders will be announced as team members from the barn with which they ride. 5. At the end of the show the team with the most points as determined by our current point system will be declared the winning team for that show. 6. Points will be tracked throughout the year on both a team and individual basis. 7. Teams must compete in 2 of 3 club shows to be considered for end of year award. All team members must be club members. 8. Awards will be given at each club show in recognition of the high point team from that show. The team with the most points at the end of the year will be recognized at the banquet, as will the high-point rider from the year. 9. Optional- Teams may wear jackets, caps, shirts, etc. outside of the ring to show their affiliation and support for their teammates For further information, contact Gabriele Berta: [email protected] (817) 938-5115
