JAMS JAZZ & TAP Dance Camp • by Howard County Parks & Rec
Move, groove and jam to pop versions of your favorite Disney songs and shows! Participate in upbeat
jazz and tap classes each day. Enjoy craft, snack, and playtime to round out each day’s fun. Wear dance
attire for ease of movement such as leotard or dance dress and tights. Leather ballet or jazz shoes and tap

PRINCESS Dance Camp • by Howard County Parks & Rec
Twirl your way to becoming a dancing princess! Come and learn about all your favorite princesses,
including Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, and Jasmine. Each day focuses on a different princess and her story,
with dance classes and crafts centered on that princess. Participate in ballet, tap and creative dance classes
as well as craft, play and snack time. Wear dance attire for ease of movement such as leotard or dance
dress and tights. Leather ballet and tap shoes required. Bring a nut-free snack and drink each day.

Dance into the spotlight! Join Isabelle, the 2014 American Girl doll of the year, and her friends
including Saige and Kanani in this fun themed camp. Each day focuses on a different American Girl
and her story! Participate in ballet and modern classes with lots of time for creativity and fun! Make
fun crafts to take home. American Girl dolls welcome, but not necessary for participation. Wear dance

Enter the exciting world of musical theater dance! Engage in theater games and improv, dip your toes
in acting, and learn jazz and theater dance technique. Each day explores a different Broadway show
(including Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Newsies, and many more)! Fun crafts go along with each theme. Wear

Be a star in your own music video! Create your own costume, props and backgrounds. Rehearse and
shoot your music video. Jazz, modern and hip-hop are incorporated into the choreography. Each day
includes a warm up, instruction in technique and composition, crafts and fun games. Wear dance attire

Summer Dance Intensive • by Dance Connections, Inc.
Gear back up for fall dance with this fun but technically challenging camp for experienced
dancers. Dancers will have a 1-2 technique classes a day in modern, jazz, or ballet as well
as specialty classes in areas such as hip hop, pilates, yoga, theater dance, and more.
Dancers should wear a leotard and convertible tights everyday and bring their ballet and
jazz shoes. Dancers should bring a peanut free snack and drink as well as a water bottle.
