June, 2015 Be the first to test drive the latest seeding equipment Calling all growers; the West Midlands Group (WMG) will be hosting the Seeding Equipment Ride and Drive day on Friday 12 June from 2:30pm at the Badgingarra Research Station (BRS). You will have the opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat and test drive the latest seeding machinery from McIntosh and Son, and AFGRI Equipment. The benefit of the day is to sow 40 ha of the Badgingarra’s community wheat crop at the BRS. “Nearly all machinery field days only allow the farmer to look at the latest machinery however this event actually allows you to test drive the equipment in local conditions” stated local Badgingarra grower, Graham White. Have a dirty car? The Badgingarra Primary School will also be offering a car washing service as a fund raiser for their school camp. On a lighter note to conclude the day, there will be a celebration BBQ proudly donated by Rabobank. Come along to find out about all of the above and much more.
