NEW P2000 SERIES AIR DISK DRILLS P2080 I P2085 NEW P2000 Series air disk drills from New Holland place seed at the exact depth and down pressure you choose to ensure quick seedling emergence. They’re ideal for seeding crops such as wheat, barley, rice, soybeans, and canola, with excellent performance in both hard and soft soils. A MODEL TO MATCH YOUR NEEDS EASY ADJUSTMENTS You can set seeding depth from 0 to 3.5 inches using an easy, single-handed adjustment without manual lock, making it the most stress-free adjustment available. You also have the convenience of standard, in-cab, down-pressure adjustment up to 100 pounds of pressure. Choose the three-section, single-fold P2080 disk drill in 30- or 40-foot widths, with a tow-behind or tow-between air cart. Or, choose the highly maneuverable P2085 with a mounted seed tank—70 bushels for the 30-foot model and 100 bushels for the 40-foot model. RUGGED DURABILITY DESIGNED FOR TOUGH CONDITIONS DURABLE BY DESIGN P2000 Series 18-inch opening disks cut cleanly through the heaviest crop residues and the hardest no-till soils. The all-new closing system is designed for soil conditions at both ends of the spectrum. In very hard soils, the packer wheel does a better job of closing the trench, and in very soft conditions, it preserves more moisture and leaves a smooth field finish. The hollow center of the closing system reduces compaction while providing excellent seed-to-soil contact. • • • • SEEDING PRECISION Even when seeding at higher speed and in rough terrain, New Holland’s industry-leading parallel link design delivers unmatched depth accuracy. You can also expect unsurpassed ground following over the entire width of the machine thanks to the industry-leading 25-degree total wing flex. High flotation walking tandem options ensure maximum flotation for lower ground pressure and compaction. These drills are designed to last. They utilize high-strength parts for reduced wear, long life and less maintenance. The P2080 and P2085 also offer reduced setup time, resulting in less maintenance and more time in the field, where it counts. • • • • • • • • Hardened wing pins with replaceable bushings High-quality, powder-coat paint finish Welded frame, rather than bolted Cat IV floating hitch with hardened pins and replaceable bushings Row unit cast frame, link and adjustment handle Heavy-duty packer wheel High-strength chrome silicon springs Double row main bearing with integral double lip seals and external shield Long-life scraper with integral tungsten carbide wear components Larger 1.3” solid main spindle Earth metal boron 18” steel disk blade Heavy-duty 1.25” main pivot pins with oil impregnated copper iron alloy bushings in all locations AIR DISK DRILL SPECIFICATIONS SPECIFICATIONS TOOLBAR WIDTH, ft (m) Transport height, ft (m) Transport width (w/o light bracket), ft (m) Road-to-opener Clearance, in (cm) Weight (empty), lbs (kg) Length w/ rear hitch (pin to pin), in (m) Spacing, in (cm) Split rank capability, in (cm) Number of row units Minimum tractor PTO hp required* Minimum tractor PTO hp required with air cart* Ground following Row unit travel from level surface, in (cm) Wing flex Disks, in (cm) Depth settings, in (cm) Down pressure adjustment Closing wheel variable packing pressure, lbs (kg) Standard in-cab down pressure control, lbs (kg) Hydraulic requirements, gpm (lpm) Seed tank, bushels Mounted tank meter Optional equipment P2080 P2080 P2085 P2085 30 ft. Minimum requirements are a starting point only and should be increased based on operating conditions in the field, road transport conditions, and other implements that are used with the drill. The P2085 with mounted seed tank provides even weight distribution and can reduce input costs and increased yields by eliminating overlap during headland turns and when working in oddly shaped fields.
