CLINIC NEWS
End of Year Medication
If your child has medication stored in the clinic, you will
receive a letter next week. All medicines must be picked
up by Thursday, June 4 at 3:00 PM. We are unable to
store medication over the summer—items remaining
after June 4 will be discarded. Emergency medications
(inhalers, epinephrine, antihistamines) should remain at
school until our last day.
Clothing
If you child has borrowed clothing from the clinic,
please return these items so they may be used by other
students. Most items are labeled “Please return to David Clinic”.
It has been a pleasure to care for and get to know your
children this year. Wishing you all a safe and happy
summer. See you in August!
YEARBOOK UPDATE
The 2014-2015 yearbooks will be passed out on Monday, June 1st.
If you did not purchase a yearbook, we have a limited
number available for purchase. They will be sold on a
first come, first served basis beginning Tuesday, June
2nd. Students or parents may bring in a check made
payable to David PTO for $40 on that day. Please be
sure to include your birthdate and driver’s license number on all checks. Unfortunately, we will not be able to
take any phone orders.
DAVID NEWSLETTER
THANK YOU!!
The faculty and staff of David Elementary would like to
extend a big thank you to all of our parents and volunteers who have helped us so much this year. The hours
you volunteer, the monthly luncheons, the special
treats you provided and the tremendous support you
have given us throughout the year are appreciated
more than words can express! We could not do it without you! If you are missing any dishes, please stop by
the front office. We have several “lost” dishes in our
teacher’s lounge.
LOST AND FOUND ITEMS
Our lost and found items will be on a rack in the cafeteria during all grade level lunch times. Please encourage
your child to look for any items they might be missing.
Parents are welcome to come and look as well. On June
4th, any items remaining will be donated to charity.

LIBRARY NEWS
We had a wonderful year in the David Library! We are
so grateful to our volunteers for all the help they provided this year. We hope all of our David Dolphins
spend lots of time relaxing and reading over the summer.
KDAV News
Fourth grade students from Miss Naremore’s class
are the anchors for the live morning announcements
this week, May 26th through May 29th. Students from
Mrs. Faria’s class are also leading the pledge. Everyone is doing a great job!
CAN CAPTAIN RECYCLING
Great recycling this year! Save your aluminum over
the summer and we will begin when school resumes!
BOXTOPS AND LABELS FOR EDUCATION
Don’t forget to continue to save your Box Tops and
Labels for Education over the summer. We will start
our fall collection when school resumes in August.
We gain confidence when we try things that we are
afraid to do.
