For 45 years, Davis Street has helped
low income families of the Eden area
and its surrounding communities improve their quality of life
through short and long-term assistance. Davis Street offers a
comprehensive safety net that helps clients navigate their journey
to financial, physical, and mental well-being.
QUALITY, AFFORDABLE CHILDCARE for nearly 1,400 children birth through 12
years of age, at four licensed child care centers and through the subsidized
Alternative Payment Childcare Voucher Program
FOOD PANTRY groceries provided to nearly 15,000 low-income individuals
annually, including children and seniors
CLOTHING everything from tennis shoes, business suits, jackets, and small
household items provided to nearly 15,000 low-income individuals annually
HOUSING, UTILITY ASSISTANCE, CAL FRESH AND MEDI-CAL ENROLLMENT
offered to elgible low income families
HOLIDAY FOOD BASKET AND TOY PROGRAM provides holiday meals and
new toys, including 400 bicycles to over 1,000 families throughout San Leandro
BILL MCCAMMON HEALTH CENTER offers medical, dental, and behavioral
health to thousands of children and adults in our newly renovated 11,000 sq. ft.
licensed Primary Care Clinic. Comprehensive mental health services provided to
adults and children through individual, family and couples counseling, school-based
counseling, psychological testing, and community-based training. And, acute
medical care and physical therapy offered to uninsured or underinsured individuals
made possible through the RotaCare and professional volunteers
INFORMATION AND REFERRAL for individuals requiring services and assistance
outside of Davis Street’s offerings
COMMUNITY OUTREACH and tabling at community events and festivals to get
the word out of Davis Street’s comprehensive offerings
