Most retail stores, and in particular
fashion retail stores, are characterised
by a very dusty environment. Dust is
the PC’s worst enemy and may reduce
its life. Our DdD pos PC therefore
has a passive cooling system, which
means that it has no fan to suck in air
and dust which may harm the PC’s
electronic components.
The fashion retail business is moving
further towards multichannel services. This means that the industry is
approaching its customers through an
increasing number of channels, e.g. via
the sales assistants, customer clubs
and online webshops.

The CPU in the DdD pos PC is embedded. Embedded means that the PC’s
CPU is very reliable and virtually
flawless.
High-speed
The DdD pos PC is built on the world’s
fastest embedded CPU. The DdD pos
PC has a high-speed harddisk, an SSD
disk. This combination makes the DdD
pos PC the world’s fastest POS PC.
As a user, you will quickly learn that
waiting time is kept at an absolute
minimum when using the cash register.
Silent
Our PC has an SSD disk and no fan, thus
no moving parts. This makes it completely
silent and your employees will not be
bothered by a humming PC sound.
High quality
Both the PC cabinet and base are
made of cast aluminium. This gives
the PC an extremely sturdy and elegant design.
Our point of sale PC therefore has two
screens; a touch screen for the sales
assistant and a screen for the customer. On the customer screen, the customer can track his/her receipt while the
store can show advertisements from,
e.g. suppliers or post information about
store events etc.
True Flat Touch
Both screens have an exclusive True
Flat Touch design which also facilitates cleaning.
Fingerprint reader
The fashion retail business is characterised by having several sales assistants
using the same cash register. The cash
registers therefore feature a fingerprint
reader function.
Your employees will therefore not have
to memorise a code to access the cash
register and this ensures quick and
safe cash register log-on, minimising
the risk of errors.
Low energy
consumption
When both screens are in use and
the PC is working to full capacity, the
maximum energy consumption is 90
Watts. This is very low.
Easy installation
All outlets are located in the base which
enables easy installation of the cash
register PC in the desk.
