ARTS FUN DAYS
Paint the day your favourite colours, red, blue or yellow. They will be colourful
days in the Garden Room @ Deaf Children Australia. Artist Liz Reed will inspire
children and offer advice on ways to develop their creative skills. After her
session, the kids will have the afternoon free to play.

IT’S A TREE ADVENTURE (BELGRAVE)
Go climb trees in the Dandenongs. This eco- adventure venue comprises five
tree-top obstacle and flying fox courses that weave through the sublime canopy
of Glen Harrow Heritage Gardens. It’s so awesome!

DON BOSCO DROP IN
As your host, we promise an awesome activity morning for all the family and your
friends. Come along for trampolining, basketball, eight ball or table tennis and
hang out with new and old friends.

TENNIS: IT’S ACE
Playing tennis is great fun for all ages. On the day, coaching lessons will be
available for all standards - beginners to competition players. It’s a sporting
opportunity to have fun, develop your court play and meet other families.

GOLF: GIVE IT A GO (ALBERT PARK)
Get into the swing and improve all your golf skills including driving, pitching and
putting. In this clinic, your professional coach, Jamie McCallum will instruct on
ways to enjoy the game of golf more. This is a great opportunity.

It’s a smash!!! Table Tennis is an Olympic, Commonwealth Games and

VRROOM, GO KARTING @ ACE KARTS (ALBION)
Flag drops. Vroom Vroom. Ace Karts is Melbourne’s widest and safest outdoor
track. This is a fantastic opportunity for participants to get the thrill of go karting
with their friends.

Get to Funfields, Victoria’s favourite fun park, for thrills a plenty and heaps of fun
for the whole family. Try the bumper boats, fast downhill toboggan, go karts,
water slides and much more.

TIME: 11.00am – 4.00pm
COST: $ 30 deaf / HOH participants. $30 other children and adults

SUNDAY 12 APRIL
A WILD DAY OUT – BALLARAT WILDLIFE PARK
Join other deaf and hard of hearing children, young people and their families
for a wildlife experience. Ballarat Wildlife Park specialise in native Australian
animals and a wide variety of exotic reptiles from free roaming kangaroos, koalas,
wombats, Tasmanian devils, eagles, giant tortoises, crocodiles and alligators to a
large display of lizards and both venomous and non-venomous snakes. On the
day, you are invited participate in a guided tour at 11am and be in the audience
for the meet the keeper shows from 1.30pm-4.00pm. This is a great opportunity
for all families with deaf or hard of hearing children to share a social and fun
experience. See you there.

SUNDAY 15 MARCH, SUNDAY 19 APRIL & SUNDAY 24 MAY
FUN TENNIS DAYS @ BAXTER TENNIS CLUB
Playing tennis is great for all ages. Your fun tennis days
at Baxter Tennis Club will offer coaching lessons for all
standards. There will be match play as well for experienced
and competition players. It’s a sporting opportunity to have fun,
develop your skills and meet other kids and families. They will
be social days out for all the family along with deaf and hearing
players of all ages and abilities. This ‘ACE’ activity is made
possible with the support of Thrupp Tennis Services, Baxter
Tennis Club and Deaf Tennis Australia
MEET: Baxter Tennis Club. The club is located at Baxter
Park, South Frankston, corner of Frankston-Flinders and Sages
Road Baxter. (Take Somerville 15 Exit off the Peninsula Link
Freeway). Entrance is off Frankston – Flinders Road, Baxter
TIME: 10.00am – 1.00pm
COST: $45 for the 3 clinics or
$20 on the day per participant (Parents are free)

BYO: BBQ sizzle & light refreshments available on the day.

month? Do you want to do awesome activities like paintball,
movies, surfing and much more? Chill Out Saturdays would
