Optional Electronic Hand Hygiene Monitoring
DebMed® wall-mounted and point-of-care dispensers can be enabled
during the installation, or at any time in the future, with patented
Deb technology to electronically monitor and measure hand hygiene
compliance. Dispenser activation data is captured, compiled and compared
to statistically-valid benchmarks to calculate compliance rates. Information
is available on-demand via simple and intuitive dashboard style reports.

A Comprehensive Solution
The volume of alcohol hand sanitizer in each dose of Optidose InstantFOAM is based on the
World Health Organization’s (WHO) Guidelines on Hand Hygiene in Healthcare1, recommending
a sufficient amount of alcohol solution be applied to thoroughly cover all surfaces of the hands
and rubbed until dry, for a total duration of approximately 20- 30 seconds. The combination of
efficacy, a proper “dose” size and “duration” is critical in helping to prevent Healthcare Associated
Infections (HAIs).
Point-of-Care Dispensing and Monitoring
It is essential for hand sanitizer to be immediately accessible without healthcare workers having
to leave the patient zone. The DebMed® point-of-care dispenser enables staff to clean their hands
