DEERY Flexable Bridge Joint (FBJ) is a unique blend of modified
asphaltic binders, select aggregates and other modifiers that are premeasured and combined to create an AII-ln-One Box asphaltic bridge
joint system. This convenient packaging eliminates the chaos and
guesswork associated with field mixing. The end result is a smooth quiet
joint.

Flex-A-Fill
®
The Flex-A-Fill Mini Melter 10 is a 10
gallon self contained, hand agitated melter
applicator that melts sealant for application
in approximately twenty minutes. The
wheeled melter easily follows random
cracks for efficient crack sealing.
The Flex-A- Fill Mini Melter 30 is a 30
gallon self contained, air jacketed hand
agitated unit requiring the use of a wheeled
pour pot. The Flex-A-Fill Mini Melter 30
can be used in conjunction with the Mini
Melter 10 as a refilling mechanism.

The crack sealing maintenance procedure involves placement of specialized materials into working cracks using
unique configurations to reduce the intrusion of incompressible into the crack and to prevent intrusion of water into the
underlying pavement layers. Working cracks are defined as those that experience significant horizontal movements,
generally greater than about 2mm (.01 in.). Typical sealing configurations are shown above.

The crack filling maintenance procedure involves the
placement of materials into non-working cracks to
substantially reduce infiltration of water and to reinforce
the adjacent pavement. Non-working cracks are defined
as those that experience no to low movement, generally
less than about 2mm (.01 in.). Typical filling
configurations are shown to the right.
