These brand keggles are made for the avid home brewer. The
keggles are made from solid 304 stainless steel. The 1.5mm thick
stainless is heavy enough to take some beating and also thick
enough to be heated by direct fire (such as the LPG burner part #:
006653). The keggles are 41cm diameter and 59cm high with 33cm
opening at the top.
These kegs are sold as is. They are pressure tested
and may contain some residual syrup. We
recommend that you change the o-rings when you
purchase these. The keg seal kits are Part#004857.
Some of the kegs come with ring pull pressure relief
and some only have the auto pressure relief.
The keggles include the ½” large bore 2 piece ball valve.
These second hand kegs are 21cm Diameter and 64cm high. These
kegs use the ball lock disconnects (Part numbers
004833,004840,005267,005274).
Other options can easily be fitted to the keggle such as:
1. 30cm domed false bottom for Mash Tun conversion.

slightly larger in diameter (22.6cm) and slightly shorter (58cm) than
regular Cornelius type ball lock kegs. The pin lock kegs do not come
with the pressure release valve with ring pull, they come with a relieve
valve which simply pops out at approx. 100 psi. To relief pressure
manually you can push down the poppet on the gas post.

The Kegomax FM Reflux Still is an all new reflux still design that
is made from borosilicate laboratory grade glass, stainless steel

These heating elements are powerful and perfect to make use on your boiler. The
element is made from 304 grade stainless steel. This element also has a weld free
design meaning that you can easily install it by simply drilling a hole in your
pot/keg/boiler of approximately 32mm and tightening a nut from the outside of the
pot. The diameter of the element at the widest point is 38mm so it is ideal if you
need to pass the element through the neck of a keg to
make a keg boiler.

This heat stick housings make is very easy to build a RIMS
recirculating mash system. They have been made with TIG welded
50mm stainless pipe with 2 x ½” BSP female sockets at right angles in
the top and bottom for the wort to flow in and out. On one end there is
a tri-clover end cap with a 32m hole pre-drilled so it is ready to mount
one of our 2200watt elements (part #004727). The top of the heat
stick has a 20mm hole so it is ready to mount either a thermowell (part
#005311) or bulkhead (part #005335).
This makes it very easy to then use a temp controller (part#004246)
and pump (part#005861) to build your own re-circulating RIMS
system.

This ball valve is sold as a complete
assembly (shown in picture on left ) so all
you have to do is drill your 20mm hole in
your keg, pot or vessel wall and you can
fit this ball valve.
This is a full port ball valve with a 14mm
bore which allows maximum flow rate
through the ball valve.
The valve comes with Teflon tape already on
the nipple, a silicon o-ring which is seated in
the ½” BSP nut. The seat in the nut prevents
the o-ring from rolling out of place when
tightening. As shown to top right the 1/2”
BSP Male x 13mm Barb (#005700) can be
fitted to the ball valve (purchased separately)
so you can attach any 11-14mm ID type hose
(such as our silicon hose #005496).
On the inside of the vessel the ½” BSP nipple usually protrudes approximately 16mm
meaning you can attach an elbow (purchase separately #5670) to the inside of the
vessel so it draws from the bottom (as shown to the right).

This silicon hose is resistant to constant high
temperatures and has excellent chemical resistance.
The soft silicon is great for transferring beer from
fermenter to keg and will fit onto the standard fermenter
tap or standard 13mm hose barbs. The soft silicon easy
to work with and seals very well. It is also recommended
for handling spirits and for distillation applications as it
does not leach plasticisers like vinyl tubing.
Internal diameter is 11.5mm and outside diameter of 18mm. Please note that this
hose should not be used for higher pressures above 20psi (such as mains water
pressure). The hose has a burst pressure of approximately 35psi.

If you choose to assembl this yourself you will need a 20mm hole saw, file, spanner
and some feflon tape. If you assembly yourself the price is $200 cheaper but you will
have to drill the holes yourself.

Brief Introduction
This system is designed with 3 x 58L keggles so you can brew a batch of beer that is
up to 50L in size. The 3 keggles are:
1. HLT (hot liquor tank) - Includes 2200 watt heating element which is controlled
using the 16amp temp controller. Includes ball valve and thermowell .
2. Mash Tun - with 30cm false bottom, ball valve and 3” temperature dial.
3. Kettle – Includes stainless ball valve
Step 1 – Preheat HLT
Preheat water in HLT (approximately 75-80C).

Step 3 – Recirculate Mash/Step Mash
Use the pump to recirculate the wort through the 14 immersion chiller (which you can
sit in the HLT. Ensure the HLT is at least 50% full so there is enough hot water to
use as a heat exchanger. The recirculation process will enable you to heat up the
mash tun or maintain temperature. The recirculation process will also help to clear
your wort.
Step 4 – Sparge
Use the pump to pump hot water from HLT to the Mash Tun. While the hot water is
entering the mash tun also open ball valve on the mash tun so that the flow out of the
mash tun is appoximately the same as the flow into the mash tun.
Step 5 – Boil
After you have collected the desired amount of wort into your kettle fire up the burner,
add hops and other additions.
Step 6 – Chill
Place the immersion chiller into the kettle in the last 10 minutes of the boil to sterilise
the chiller. Attach garden hose to chiller and start flow of cold tap water. Stir the
kettle to accellerate the cooling process.
