Start Time: 8:30am both days. All scratches or alternates must be
made by 8:00am
Order of Play: Boys Doubles, Girls Doubles, Boys Singles, Girls
Singles, Mixed Doubles
Format: Single Elimination Tournament using 2 out 3 (full 3rd set)
regular scoring.
Rules: All UIL and USTA rules will apply to this tournament.
Including accumulating USTA codes for athlete infractions. UIL rules
supersede USTA rules.
Admission: Everyone who enters the The Courts must either have a
wristband or a ticket. Each school will be issued wristbands for
their student athletes and 2 coaches. Alternates must pay.
Costs: $5/day
Officials: We will have 2 USTA officials on site both days. We will
also have our Tournament Director, Angel Martinez and The Courts
Head Pro, Matt Hanlin, on site to help run the tournament desk and
answer questions about the facility.
Coaching: College Style Coaching as approved by UIL.
Bus Parking: Please use baseball field lots located close to the
Courts for buses. Spectators will use the parking directly at the
Courts.
Food: There are numerous lunch places available on Eldorado
Parkway. We have included a list of local restaurants for your
convenience.
Rain Plan: The Tournament Directors and Site Director will have a
meeting with all coaches to decide the most workable plan for all.
We will keep the safety of student athletes, coaches and spectators
at the forefront of our decision making.
Seeding Information: The seeding meeting will be held on Sunday,
April 19th @ 6 pm at the McKinney ISD Athletic Office located at # 1
Duvall Street, McKinney, 75069. Seeds will be done by a majority
vote, with 1’s vs. 2’s. Only Head Coaches will be allowed to vote.
Order of seeding will follow order of play.
