Secondary School Principals, Teachers
1. The Schools Division of Bohol will hold its third year of celebrating annual gains and
successes through its yearly awarding activity the "PRAISE DepED BOHOL- PASIDUNGOG
2015."
2. The activity will be held at the Carlos P. Garcia Complex, Tagbilaran City on May 26, 2015
starting at 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This year's celebration has its theme: "Ang K to 12
Hagdanan Padung sa Kalamboan."
3. PRAISE DepED Bohol- Pasidungog 2015 employs a different schema of its selection
procedures to identify the awardees compared to what was done in the past two years. The
Schools Division Office through its Schools Division PRAISE Committee (SDPC) simply
gathers assessment results from the planning unit specifically the NAT results and the
internal efficiency indicators. The Division Monitoring and Evaluation TWG conducts
documents review to validate the authenticity of the data.
4. Program supervisors/coordinators submit nominees for the other award categories and
criteria thereof to the Schools Division PRAISE Committee (SDPC) c/o Planning Unit for
short listing and validation by the Division Monitoring and Evaluation TWG. Deadline for
submission of these documents is on May 15, 2015. (Award categories hereto attached as
Enclosure A.)
5. The activity aims to achieve the following objectives:
General: Improved over-all division performance in the context of school based
management by:
S Recognizing the performing teaching and non-teaching personnel;
S Identifying potential candidates for promotion in preparation for the succession plan;
S Providing personnel and stakeholders the opportunity to intensify sense of awareness on
the necessity of collaborative work, to achieve education goals;
@S Modeling personal and professional attributes and interpersonal effectiveness
significant to the attainment of the goals of the K-12 program thus embracing the
challenges of the "21st Century Education".
6. Participants to the activity are all Education Program Supervisors, Public Schools District
Supervisors/OIC PSDS, Elementary and Secondary School Principals, Teaching and NonTeaching Personnel.
7. A "Bring Your Own Provision" is practically considered due to the number of people
attending the activity. Each district through its PSDS is expected to plan and organize a
systematic procedure of food distribution to ensure a smooth and hazard free lunch break.
8. Each member of the different committees is directed to function and do their part
responsibly as expected.
9. The Division Monitoring and Evaluation TWG is enjoined to play a dual role both as
participant and quality assurance monitors.
10. List of Identified awardees will be released in a separate memorandum. They shall wear
formal attire during the awarding while district t-shirts with collar for non- awardees.
11. Expenses related to the conduct of the "PRAISE DepED BOHOL- PASIDUNGOG 2015." such
as materials, food, venue and travel expenses shall be charged against division/school
MOOE fund subject to the usual auditing rules and regulations.
12. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
