The undersigned is to invite the reference to this Directorate rate contract
circulars cited above on the noted subject and to say that the period of validity of rate
contract in respect of the store item “Steel Chair” is hereby extended for a further
period of six months i.e. with effect from dt.09.04.2015 to dt 08.10.2015 at the existing
rate with the SSI units as indicated in Statement-‘A’.
2.
The details of the above rate contract indicating the name of the rate contract
holding SSI units, period of validity of rate contract against each SSI unit, description of
the store item, rates and terms of delivery etc. have been indicated in the Statement-‘A’,
which is enclosed for your reference.
3.
All other terms and conditions of rate contract as communicated in the rate
contract circulars referred to above will remain unaltered.
4.
The Indenting Department must ensure submission of valid EP&M registration
certificate and Value Added Tax (VAT) clearance certificate at the time of purchase
of store item.
5.
The purchasing Department should obtain an undertaking from the rate contract
holders to the effect that after execution of purchase order of the concerned Department,
the unit shall not exceed its annual production capacity.
6.
The above extension will cease to operate consequent upon conclusion of fresh
rate contract.
7.
This may please be brought to the notice of all Sub-ordinate Offices for
information and necessary action at their level.
8.
Receipt of the communication may please be acknowledged.

Steel Chair made out of steel square tube, consisting of seat and back,
plastic woven, made of seasoned Non-Teak, Non-Sal, hard wood such
as Dhaura, Asan, Kangra, Chakunda, Kasi & Tentra frame and Hand
rest made out of the same wood.
Specification :
1. Frame- 25x25x1.25mm square steel tube
2. Seat size- 450mmx450mm made out of
seasoned Non-Teak, Non-Sal, hard wood
such as Dhaura, Asan, Kangra & Tentra
frame with plastic woven canes.
3. Seat height- From the ground level-450mm
4. Hand rest- Made from Non-Teak, Non-Sal, hard wood such as
Dhaura, Asan, Kangra, Chakunda Kasi & Tentra.
Height of top of seat to top of hand rest - 235mm.
5. Back- Inclined back wards 5º to 10º from the vertical height

Terms of delivery :
1.
The rate is ex-factory, exclusive of Odisha Value Added Tax (VAT) & Entry Tax,
which may be charged extra as admissible, if any.
2.
The minimum time allowed for delivery of goods and the delivery schedule may be
mutually decided between the rate contract holder and the Indenting Officer.
3.
Payment :
The buyer (Indenting Officer) shall make immediate payment of the dues payable to
the suppliers against the supplies made under the rate contract. Payment should be made
within 45 days from the receipt of the store failing which the buyer (Indenting Officer) shall be
liable to pay the amount with interest thereon as per Section-15 & Section-16 of delayed
payment to Micro and Small Enterprises under MSMED Act -2006.
