Malebo received his Diploma in Education (Chemistry & Biology) from Mkwawa Teachers College, Iringa, Tanzania in 1990; Bachelor of Science with Education (Chemistry & Biology) from the University of Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in 1996; Master of Science (Natural Products Chemistry) from the University of Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in 2000; and PhD (Medicinal Phytochemistry) by sandwich from Kenyatta University, Kenya and University of Basel, Switzerland in 2009. Dr. Malebo also received International Certificates in: Malaria Control from the Institute of Parasitic Diseases in Shanghai, China in 2002; Advanced Certificate in Translational Bioinformatics for Drug Discovery and Development from Pasteur Institute in Tunis, Tunisia in 2010; Advanced Certificate in Genetic Resources and Intellectual Property Rights organized by SIDA in Uppsala, Sweden and Bangkok, Thailand in 2012/2013. He is currently involved in R&D in Drug Discovery and Development; Environmental Health & Technology; pharmaceutical quality assurance and control (QA/QC); formulation and standardization of phytopharmaceuticals; cosmetics and nutraceuticals; and pharmaceutical production processes and technologies.
