COST action IS1205 Summer School “Confronting Collective Historical Memory and Emotion” Split, Croatia – 7-12 September 2015 In this unique summer school for Ph. D. level students, experts in social psychology and history will come together to teach interactive workshops about three aspects of how history is preserved, evaluated, altered and forgotten in collective memory. Teaching groups: Historical Memory Transmitted Through Education Luigi Cajani and Giovanna Leone (Sapienza University of Rome) Historical Memory In Commemorative Acts & Sites Michał Bilewicz (University of Warsaw) and Chantal Kesteloot (Université Libre de Bruxelles) Acts of Reconciliation: Reshaping or Reinforcing Historical Memory? Sabina Čehajić-Clancy (University of Sarajevo) and Roger Giner-Sorolla (University of Kent) The summer school is open to all registered Ph.
