From the Principal
Dear Parents,
Welcome back from spring break! In just a few short weeks, we begin the SAGE Test and other
end-of year assessments. In the meantime, teachers will be reviewing content and preparing
students for their assessments. Coming to school every day and on time is always important.
However, over the next two months attendance is critical as we have limited time to help students be
prepared for the tests and because of the limited flexibility in our testing schedule. Please make
every effort to have your students here on time every day so that we can maximize our efforts to
help each child be successful. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school.
Sincerely,
Jared Wright

Your Utah Your Future Survey and Donation Program
Dilworth is registered to participate in the Your Utah Your Future survey! We’re glad to have your
school and community involved in this important conversation about Utah’s future, and we’re happy
to provide this donation and outreach program to your school.
The Your Utah Your Future survey was launched on Thursday, April 2! We will begin tracking
respondents from your school as soon as the survey opens, so please encourage your school and
community members to participate as soon as they can. The survey will be available
at envisionutah.org until May 31.
We will be sending a flier home with more information but wanted you to know about the donation
program right now. We will donate $1 for every parent, teacher, staff member, or adult community
member who takes the survey in behalf of your school (and students are encouraged to take the
survey as well). There will be a spot to indicate your school at the end of the survey. We have a
maximum statewide donation amount of $50,000 with a $2,500 maximum amount per elementary
school available on a first come, first served basis. We will do our best to notify you when maximum
is reached. We will be using the best technology available to detect and prevent fraud, and we
reserve the right not to count any survey responses that we suspect are fraudulent or the result of
multiple responses by a single person.
Finally, while we are very happy to provide the donation to your school, we hope the donation will
not eclipse the importance of this survey. We’re asking Utahns across the state to carefully consider
the information presented in the survey and make choices based on what they want Utah to be like in
the year 2050. The results will be used to create a vision for the state that will be a guide to
policymakers, local governments, businesses, developers, and all of us, as we prepare for the future.
Please encourage your school and community to be thoughtful and conscientious about their
responses. We expect the average respondent to spend anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes taking the
survey depending on how deeply they wish to examine the information available.
Thank you again. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. You can reach the
Envision Utah Youth Council at [email protected].
Dilworth's Rummage Sale
Did you do any spring cleaning over spring break? Bring your gently used housewares, books,
toys, games, sport equipment, jewelry, furniture, tools, shoes and baby items to the collection box
near the front office. Tell your neighbors they can donate and shop, too. The rummage sale will take
place on Sat., May 9th (two days after Art Night). Bring larger items to the gym that Friday after
school. We will also continue the Green House sale (great for Mother's Day gifts the next day) and
will have students running a snack stand. If you'd like to volunteer to help or have questions about
donating, please text Victoria Saley, 801-834-7484.
