SHAPING OUR FUTURE: DIOCESE OF KERRY HOSTS
LISTENING GATHERINGS: The Diocese of Kerry is preparing
a new pastoral plan for 2015-2020. The plan will provide the
diocese with a road-map for the next 5 years. Launching the
listening process, Bishop Ray Browne said “it is important to
consult and listen to what people are saying. At times we think we
know what people need, but that is not always accurate, so it’s
important to ask. We believe that listening to people speak about
their concerns is an essential starting point”. To hear people’s
hopes and concerns, listening gatherings will be held throughout
the diocese. The listening gathering for Killarney Pastoral Area
will be held on Monday, January 19th at the Dromhall
Hotel starts at 8.00pm and will conclude by 9.30 pm. All are
welcome to attend.
