One Day Poly - Intellectuals' Meet

SWAGAT-2K15 is a polytechnic student’s meet was conducted first time in MITS on
25th March 2015 organised by the faculty of Diploma. It is the best platform to show the
talents of young minds. SWAGAT-2K15 was conducted for DECE, DCE, DCSE, DME and
DEEE students.Inauguration session started at 10.30 PM after completion of spot
registrations. Dr.N.Devanna, M.Sc., Ph.d., Principal, JNTUA, Kalikiri was invited as Chief
guest of the programme. Mr .V.V. Kutumba Rao invited as Guest of Honour for the
programme.
Above 300 diploma students were participated in the events like technical quiz, technical
paper presentation, model presentation, cricket and volleyball programme from different
polytechnic colleges like S.V.Govt Polytechnic, Tirupati, Dr.Y.C. James Polytechnic, Kuppam,
G.M.R. Polytechnic, Madanapalle, GVIC, Madanapalle, Kadiri Polytechnic, Anantapur Govt
Polytechnic, Dharmavaram polytechnic, Layola polytechnic, Pulivendula etc.
SWAGAT-2K15 consists following four events.

1. Paper Presentation
DrC.Kamal Basha, Dr.T.Vishnuvardhan, Dr.Y.Amaranath and Mr.M.Srinath Reddy,
Mr.N.Venkataramana Reddy were act as jury members for technical paper presentation.30
technical papers were selected for presentationin different streams and prizes are won by
the following participants.
2. Project Exhibition
Mr.B.ChandraSekhar and Mr.Y.Chandra Sekhar and Mr.D.Md.Rafi were act as jury members
for model presentation.14 models are selected for exhibition. The model presentation

4. Volley ball and Cricket
Mr. Ramana P.D., MITS, Mr. Janardan, Asst P.D, Mr.Md.Mujaheed were incharges for volley
ball and cricket.8 teams for cricket and 6 teams for volley ball were selected for playing.
