High Wave Alert for Karnataka Coast
High swell waves in the range of 2.0 - 2.3 meters are predicted during 17:30 hrs on
05-07-2015 to 2330 hrs on 07-07-2015 along the coast from Mangalore to Karwar of
Karnataka coast. Current speeds vary between 60 - 78 cm/sec.
Strong onshore winds from Westerly direction speed occasionally reaching 45-55
kmph likely along and off Karnataka coast.
Fishermen are advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea.
