Aliza recently joined Twitter to build and run the medium and small business markets across the APAC region.
Previously she spent 5 years at Google, as Managing Director, Commerce and Wallet and Managing Director of the
Online Sales Group, where she led the team’s strategy and growth in Asia Pacific. She also worked closely with the
Economic Development Board to create a major presence for Google in Singapore.
Aliza has significant financial services and international experience. She was Senior Vice President, Commercial
Solutions, at Visa International, where she developed Visa’s procurement and travel solutions for governments and
businesses worldwide. Previously, she was Senior Vice President, International, at Charles Schwab, and Partner and
Head of Financial Services at Boston Consulting Group in Sydney and Singapore.
Aliza is passionate about improving communities and coaching others on professional development. In Singapore, she
leads Twitter’s diversity efforts for the region, serves on BoardAgender, and just completed work as a member of the
Ministry of Education Committee to Review University Education Pathways Beyond 2015. She’s also a board member
of a workforce development organization in the U.S. and an advisor to Women Media Networks (Asia). She was the
head of Women@Google , APAC.

With clients like Volvo, The New York Times or Red Bull, Abel’s role for the past 10 years has been to
develop insights identifying, accessing and activating the customer. He has been responsible for executing
these strategies via digital and, specifically, mobile channels.
While in NYC, he was part of the Mobiento (most awarded Mobile agency at Cannes) team that worked
with a blue-chip roster of companies and agencies on their mobile marketing strategies across Asia,
America and Europe. These included brands like Versace, The Daily News and The World Childhood
Foundation.
Abel got his Masters in Digital Marketing from NYU and is passionate about Air Jordans, rescuing shelter
dogs and also his long suffering wife.。

Cathy Yum is the Head of Marketing for Google Enterprise in Asia, primarily focused on emerging
Asia. Her career has spanned the building of a world-class marketing team in the US at Cognos
Software, to leading a global team for IBM’s Growth Markets. Currently she is responsible for
making the Google brand relevant for the business user by understanding the customer and
connecting them with Google’s magic.
Prior to technology marketing, Cathy spent a number of years in advertising. Born in South Korea,
the pursuit of a dream to return to Asia brought her to Singapore in 2009. Cathy enjoys cycling,
reading, photography, looking at art and vicarious cooking (think Asian Food Channel). Cathy holds
a degree in art from Smith College in Massachusetts, USA; and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School
of Management.

Maya is the Head of Lifestyle at the Samsung Media Solution Centre and oversees the lifestyle
and social categories in Southeast Asia & Oceania. In her role, Maya manages overall product
management, strategic partnerships, go-to-market strategy and service operations. Maya is also
responsible for building and developing partnerships with service companies such as Air BNB,
Facebook, Living Social, Rocket Internet and Trip advisor.
Before Samsung, Maya spent over 15 years in the digital media, mobile and eCommerce
industries across the Asia Pacific region for diverse brands such Google and Microsoft, where she
led the marketing and partnership division. She was also responsible for launching and bringing
internet and mobile offerings for top tier publication titles such as Vogue, GQ and Condé Nast
Travellers in Asia.
