She also worked closely with the Economic Development Board to create a major presence for Google in Singapore. Aliza has significant financial services and international experience. She was Senior Vice President, Commercial Solutions, at Visa International, where she developed Visa’s procurement and travel solutions for governments and businesses worldwide. Previously, she was Senior Vice President, International, at Charles Schwab, and Partner and Head of Financial Services at Boston Consulting Group in Sydney and Singapore. Aliza is passionate about improving communities and coaching others on professional development. In Singapore, she leads Twitter’s diversity efforts for the region, serves on BoardAgender, and just completed work as a member of the Ministry of Education Committee to Review University Education Pathways Beyond 2015. She’s also a board member of a workforce development organization in the U.S. and an advisor to Women Media Networks (Asia). She was the head of Women@Google , APAC. Aliza Knox Managing Director, Online Sales, APAC Twitter With clients like Volvo, The New York Times or Red Bull, Abel’s role for the past 10 years has been to develop insights identifying, accessing and activating the customer. He has been responsible for executing these strategies via digital and, specifically, mobile channels. While in NYC, he was part of the Mobiento (most awarded Mobile agency at Cannes) team that worked with a blue-chip roster of companies and agencies on their mobile marketing strategies across Asia, America and Europe. Her career has spanned the building of a world-class marketing team in the US at Cognos Software, to leading a global team for IBM’s Growth Markets. Currently she is responsible for making the Google brand relevant for the business user by understanding the customer and connecting them with Google’s magic. Prior to technology marketing, Cathy spent a number of years in advertising. Born in South Korea, the pursuit of a dream to return to Asia brought her to Singapore in 2009.
