Pricing Overview
Summary:
Since customers have a variety of imaging requirements, GeoExpress is priced on a tiered basis. For
heavy use customers, GeoExpress unlimited is offered. Three lower priced options are also available
(Levels 1-3), which are differentiated by amounts encoding per year. For editing-only of MrSID files (no
raw TIFF compression), GeoExpress Tools is available.

Notes:
* Prices – In US Dollars and includes first year support and maintenance. Upgrade discounts available for previous versions
of GeoExpress and/or MrSID Geo encoder. GSA pricing is available for qualified agencies.
**(1) Annual encoding Levels – The annual encoding capability (data cartridge) is measured in raw input imagery file size
(i.e.: TIFF). Levels are refreshed annually with technical support/maintenance renewal and any cartridge not used on an
annual basis is thus rolled over into the following year. (Example: GeoExpress customer at Level 2 compressed 350GB in
year one, 150GB will roll over totaling 650GB for year two).
Data cartridge amount is only deducted with raw image to MrSID/JPEG2000 compression. Editing or recompression of
existing MrSID or JPEG2000 imagery will not deduct from data cartridge. Test encoding is available for trial compressions
that do not deduct from data cartridge. Upgrades to any of the levels or unlimited, are available at any time.
(2) Floating license – Pricing above for one concurrent user. A remote license option (Citrix/terminal services) is also
available at the unlimited floating pricing level.
Software support and maintenance – Includes phone/email technical and licensing support, data cartridge renewal and
free software upgrades.
