Planning for The Homestead/South Dade Kiwanis Club 31st Annual Ed Glenn’s Dolphin Days Tournament has
begun! Activities will begin on Thursday June 11th, 2015 with the Captain’s party and final registration, which
will be held at the Mutineer Restaurant in Florida City. The tournament will be on Saturday, June 13th, 2015
with the official weigh-in and awards ceremony to be held at Homestead Bay Front Park. To celebrate the 31st
Anniversary of our tournament, all anglers will receive a fishing t-shirt.
We are soliciting sponsorships and would be pleased to have your business included among our many sponsors.
We invite you to consider the benefits our tournament presents to your business. Over 10,000 brochures are
distributed throughout South Florida from the Jupiter/Stuart area to the Florida Keys. Posters are displayed in
many marinas as well as boat and bait shops. Additionally, our tournament is listed on many fishing related
websites as well as www.dolphindays.org. All major sponsors will be listed on all advertising, providing
maximum exposure of you business to thousands of anglers and other boaters. Please join with us in presenting
a first class event benefiting the youth in our community.
Our tournament is one of the premier dolphin tournaments in the South Florida area with great parties, prizes,
trophies and angler gifts. Over the last 31 years, our tournament typically averages 75 boats and more than 350
anglers participated.
The major emphasis of our activities is that “Kids Come First”; in keeping with that, kid’s fish free in our event.
A list of organizations we support are included in the pamphlet. These are local organizations in our area that
primarily benefit children and other worthwhile causes. Kiwanis Club of Homestead/South Dade is dedicated to
helping and serving our community.

The raffle will begin at 6:00 pm on June 11, 2015 during the Kick-Off Party being held at the Mutineer
Restaurant. Monies raised by the raffle will help fund the various Kiwanis projects such as AYSO VIP
Soccer, Local High School Scholarship Foundation, Community Prayer Breakfast, Kiwanis B.U.G.
Program (Bringing Up Grades) in several local elementary schools and many other youth related
community programs.
