Sir,
This is to inform that initial tentative targets for new projects under Integrated Watershed
Managele_nt Programme (IWMP) during 2015-16 have been approved by the competent authority.
The list of State wise targets is enclosed.

The Preliminary Projects Reports (PPRs) for the projects to be proposed durinq the vear
2015-16, afterapprovalof the SLNA, may be furnished to this bepartment iatest by rsfr rvrlr"rr, jors
for appraisal of the Steering Committee of the Department of Land Resources. The Steering
Committee meeting is likely to be held in the month of April, 2015
Only one meeting of the Steering Committee is expected to be held for the appraisal of the
9-PPRs. Therefore, any delay in
ppR
submission of the PPRs' may result in such
not being'appraisal.

lt is also informed that before the appraisal of PPRs by the Steering Committee, the data
entry for both physical and financial indicators be updated in tne MlS. The revi6w of MIS entry wi1
