GET INVOLVED
This year over 43,250 people in the U.S. alone will be newly
diagnosed with oral cancer, which includes: mouth, tongue, and
throat cancer. The David Nasto Memorial Event Committee will
strive to save lives and reduce these alarming statistics by
providing FREE ORAL CANCER SCREENINGS and education
at the 8th Annual Oral Cancer Foundation Walk/Run for
Awareness in Memory of David Nasto. The event will take
place on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Perona Farms in
Andover, NJ. In addition to the screenings, there will be raffles,
live music, breakfast/lunch, speakers and so much more.
The event raises awareness and early detection of the fastest
growing cancer today; head and neck cancer. We provide
participants with information about risk factors, signs &
symptoms, and treatments of this devastating disease. Our
goal is to send the critically important message of early
detection and prevention not only to the general public, but also
to health care providers who are the front-line specialists in
screening for and detecting this disease at its earliest and
potentially most curable stages.
My brother, David Nasto, lost his life at the young age of 47.
His legacy is to save lives so others will not endure the pain
and suffering he experienced. David did not know the signs and
symptoms of oral cancer. Help us change this for others. We
want everyone who attends, to walk away more knowledgeable
on this subject so they and the ones they love will never
experience what David and countless others have.

awareness of a disease that kills one person every hour of
every day, many of whom are young, non-smoking adults. To
