which aims to increase the awareness and active participation by older people in their

Active Healthy Lives
Gentle exercise class at Methodist Church, Wrekin Drive, Donnington.

Age Concern Day Centres

Anchor Social Club
A friendly group which meets twice monthly at the Coddon Club, Trench.
Meet 2nd and last Friday of each month 2 – 3.30pm. Raffles, bingo, refreshments and
monthly outings, membership 50p. All welcome.
Bowling
Donnington Wood bowling & social club, Recreation Ground, School Rd, Donnington. Eleven
different teams for all ages playing socially and in competition leagues.Meet: Open all year
round but the main season is during the summer when it’s open 7 evenings a week from
7pm onwards.

Crafts for Charity Group
Meet Methodist church Wrekin Drive Donnington, making various items of craft that are
sold to raise money for charities. 50p a week Mondays 2 – 3.30pm

Civil Service Retirement Fellowship

Walking group for over 50’s, which meets weekly for a 3-mile gentle walk. In addition there is
also a walk of approximately 8 miles on alternate weeks. Walks are around Shropshire in all
weathers.

for longer walk. Membership £13 per annum or 50p per walk for guests.
