The Torflex suspension system is a torsion arm type
suspension which is completely self-contained within
the axle tube. It attaches directly to the trailer frame
using brackets which are an integral part of the axle
assembly. The Torflex axle provides improved
suspension characteristics relative to leaf spring
axles through the unique arrangement of a steel
torsion bar surrounded by four natural rubber cords
encased in the main structural member of the axle
beam.

We Are All About the Axles – Al-KO
The AL-KO independent suspension system
comprises a hexagonal shaped outer tube,
incorporating three 120 degree included
angles, into which rubber elements are
fitted. These elements are retained in
position by a triple fluted inner tube.
The most successful operation of the
ALKO axle is achieved when the correct
gross vehicle weight is specified (e.g.
on a boat trailer, the weight of the
trailer, boat, motor, fuel, ice box, safety
equipment, liquid refreshments etc. are
all included. (N.B. The trailer should be
disconnected from the towing vehicle
when being weighed at a weighbridge).
As the length of the two inner tubes is
approximately 500mm each, the middle of
the axle is hollow, allowing for independent
suspension, which gives the trailed vehicle
a smoother ride than conventional trailer
springs and eliminates traditional axle
steer.

lot. We are factory direct. All of
our trailers are custom
manufactured specifically for
the customer who places the
order for them. In this way
each customer gets exactly the
trailer and options that they
want without having to pay for
options that they don't want,
and without having to settle for
whatever just happens to be
sitting out on a lot. Please do
not drive to any of our facilities
expecting to be able to buy a
trailer when you arrive. We do
not keep "extra" trailers in
stock for "drive up" sales. You
must pre-order your trailer and
allow us the time necessary
(normally 3 weeks) to
manufacture it for you.

price without paying all the
overhead of a traditional
dealer lot.

Warranty Info
LIMITED STRUCTURAL WARRANTY
S.G.C.S warrants to the original purchaser for a period of five (3) years from the date of purchase that the steel structure of this unit shall be
free of defects in materials and workmanship attributable to warrantor. Excluded from this (3) year warranty are electrical, plumbing,
windows, doors, sealant, paint, undercoating and fiberglass parts which are warranted for (90) days from purchase of this unit.
S.G.C.S will
not extend this warranty outside the continental USA.
EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY
Warrantor is not responsible for claims related to (1) defacing, scratches, dents, chips and tears of any surface not caused by warrantor; (2)
claims caused by lack of routine maintenance; (3) damages caused by unauthorized repairs, abuse, misuse or neglect; (4) damage caused by
improper hitch ball or tow hook connection; (5) component parts covered by separate supplier warranties such as tires, axles, air conditioners
and other separately warranted parts or accessories.
S.G.C.S reserves the right for final determination as to whether or not the product has
been abused or misused.
WARRANTOR’S OBLIGATION
Warrantor shall elect to remedy defects in workmanship or materials caused by warrantor after product has been returned to warrantor’s
address for inspection. Warrantor may select another qualified repair location after discussion with purchaser or qualified repair
representative. Warrantor will not be obligated in any way to pay for repairs without specific approval. All costs incurred in shipping or
delivery of product for warranty service shall be borne by the purchaser. Warrantor shall remedy defects within a reasonable time, not to
exceed sixty (60) days after notification and delivery by purchaser.
PURCHASER’S OBLIGATION
1. Purchaser must complete and return attached warranty card within fifteen (15) days of purchase for this warranty to be in effect. 2.
Purchaser must notify warrantor of any defects within five (5) days after it is discovered. 3. Purchaser must pay all service, towing and
transportation charges incurred to obtain warranty service.
DISCLAIMER OF CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
The original purchaser of warrantor’s product nor any person to whom the product is transferred or inherited shall not be entitled to recover
from warrantor any consequential or incidental damages resulting from any product defect, including loss of trailer, revenue or other
commercial loss, use of rental equipment or loss of time and convenience.
LIMITATION AND DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTY
Warrantor expressly limits the duration of all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and other implied
warranties after expiration of warranty date. No person has the authority to enlarge, amend or modify this warranty.
DESIGN CHANGE
Warrantor reserves the right to change the design and features of the product without notice or obligation.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. No action to enforce this warranty shall be commenced later than six (6) months after discovery of
the defect or after the expiration date of warranty period.
